Apartment was clean, had everything we needed, but the floors were creaking. I read other reviews about area but we didn't hear any noise around at night like others say. It was an easy walk to the train station & close to the main shopping area as well as old town. The apartment was very clean and super comfortable. It was very spacious and there was even a living room. It was well equipped with all amenities both in the kitchen and in the bathroom. Excellent value for money by far!.

The room was very big for our needs but would be awesome for someone with an extended stay as there was a full kitchen and dining area. The location was really nice and easily accessible to public transport, the place was nice and clean and very comfortable, we could cook there and it was big enough for the two of us, nice atmosphere and bright room. Well equipment kitchen, two bed room in the apartment. No microwave and washing machine. Locations in the city. Just take Bus 31 from zurich HB(main railway station). It will be 4 stops. Good value, the apartment had plenty of space and was clean and everything worked perfectly. Location was pretty good too. Yeah, the room was the best of trip, it was better than i excepted for the price, and it was also very nicely decorated. the facility is quite good and the price is really reasonable. It's clean and there are many cafe and restaurant nearby. Comfortable environment, Good location, Good price! It is really nice and beyond expectation! You will love it,. it was a nice and quiet place. relatively central. just what we needed for a city break. value for money. Overall one the largest and better fitted rooms in Zurich and the building is clean and surprisingly no noisy for the location. We liked that we had two bedrooms with two Tvs despite booking a double room. We were happy to have a kitchen but this was let down by a number of things. Rooms very comfortable. 15 min walk from Zurich HB station. A great place to base stay in Zurich Zurich has a really good public transport system Guesthouse was Clean, good facilities, self-contained. You have to leave the apartment by 11am and unfortunately you can't store the luggage anywhere. The location is ok since the area is quite central even though you might meet bizzarre people at night. Satellite was poor reception and guesthouse was difficult to find as it is behind a bar area, one of the locals told us where to go or we would have walked around for a while to find it. nothing. No any evidence shows the number or name of building or hotel name.The entrance of the building is not in the main road. A A4 paper shows the instruction is named by another apartment but not this hotel name. It is really hard to find it in the night or if you are unlucky. Pillows weren't great. Also, it's in the red light district and there were people shouting and being noisy through the night. Doesn't bother me too much as I like a bit of life, but older people might get grumpy when being woken up. Nothing it was wonderful. The location is a little difficult to find and there is **bar near. For young girls it's better to go with boys. No laundry,. there wasn't anything we did not like in particular. one reccommendation would be to clean apartmants and change towels/toiletries every day. We had a missing baggage. The reception at the hotel (which was said to work at Anwandstrasse) remained closed for days. The air company failed to deliver the baggage, since there was nobody in the reception to receive it. Too much of noise outside guesthouse during night because of location. Internet access was difficult to establish unless you have a European cell phone. Very noisy bars with music and loud conversation late at night. Red light district No parking. I thought that the sheets were a bit old. Aerea strange in the night For 4 adults the double beds are too small. The area surrounding the hotel was run-down. The TV did not work initially and you had to have a phone to get the code to make the wifi work. bit dificult if sont know city as there is no front desk also difivult to get key etc same factor. Locatef in a dodgy area but it is close to the main station, once inside its great. I was not informed prior to arrival about key; as it is without reception. phone call did not serve the purpose. We check in earlier and the cleaner accidentally throw away our fridged juice and cake when doing room cleaning. The location of this place is a way too close to Langstrasse a street well known in Zurich by prostitution and the things that come with a very late night life. Women selling sex on the streets and the sorts. Not the place for honeymooners and couples unless she is very adventurous but good enough for a business man flying solo. The location actually hurts the value of the property. We didn't like the fact that there was no toaster, kettle or microwave. Only an oven and stove top. There was only one frying pan (small) and one small pot so cooking pasta wasn't an option. In additional there was one big spoon and fork, no tongs, egg flipper etc. so while cooking we had to improvise a bit. The apartment could have benefitted from a fan or air conditioning as opening the windows let in mosquitoes. Shower head didn't work very well. Was a bit difficult to work out where exactly it was on Dienerstrasse - it is attached to 'Chez Carol' Langstrasse is the red light district When I arrived the sheets had not been changed, but when i rang hotel reception, it was sorted quite quickly and the cleaning staff were very apologetic. Nobody cleaned the toilet all week, and there wasn't a toilet brush, so it started to get a bit smelly by the end of 5 days!. Having to fetch the keys approximately two kilometers at anwandstrasse and back to dienerstrasse. The neighborhood was pretty sketchy. No service, no assistance, no flexibility, no adapters for sockets, badly marked entrance at strange bar with annoyed owners. Very few utensils in the kitchen. Iron but no ironing board. TV In The one bedroom didn't work. No proper description of the area ( red light district) which is not suitable for families with young children and which felt somewhat undesirable to walk around in, especially at night. Noisy outside from bars and prostitutes and bloody syringes on entrance to hotel. at least 1 staff should be there. We didn't know they don't clean up the room and change towels every day. We called the reception which is not near the guesthouse to ask for fresh towels but the person doesn't speak much English. It is hard to communicate and know when we should drop the towels on the floor. 1. There is no staff in the hotel to answer question. Although a phone number is given to the guest to call, people without a mobile phone is helpless. 2. No instructions as to how to get to the hotel from the train station. 3. I was told by the guest there that the hotel location is a red light district. Difficulty locating main entrance of the hotel Difficulty locating the room allocated The number printed on the room key did not indicate which level is the room located. When we finally found the room, we realised the room number printed on the door is so small, hardly can see. The D letter printed on the room key serves no purpose and we keep looking for the room that has got a D. Room too small No walking space for two. There is no sign indicating hotel. There is a cafe called ches carol under the hotel and on the street. I tried to ask the owner of cafe. The woman who owned cafe start to scream "this is not hotel, go and dont disturb me" and closed the cafe's door. Then ı found a door at the back of hotel building. ı used pin code and ı got a key of hote and room. It was enteresting that ı saw same woman when ı entered the hotel. The hotel should keep a person not same like that woman. The hotel is really hard to find, we spend almost 1 hour to find the hotel after we took off from the central station, and there is not logo on the wall of the hotel, so it is really hard to find, you will totally miss it...and we need to check in by ourself, there is a check in machine there, but if you need help, you have to help yourself, because there is no one there. Room being in top floor had slanting walls. My wife hit her head several times whenever she woke up from bed on the slanting wall side. Such partial rooms should not be used for habitation (slanting wall is awkward, takes off much of the room space). Very noisy until early morning hours due to the location. The key pickup and drop off from the Anwar street location was very inconveniet for late arrival and early departure. The neighborhood was sketchy at night, and not even closing the windows helped the sound. We stayed over a weekend and frequently heard people yelling to each other on the street or around the bar in the building. We were also told that the rooms were air conditioned, which wasn't true. No air conditioner. It´s on the center but in the red zone and on fridays you could listen to the worse coming in with men shouting rumba in between some german stuff. The key-box wasn't in the street they emalied to me! It was terrible to have such discussion at the phone, whose n° I founded on the wrong key-box! The bathroom-door doesn't work well. Nothing special. Terrible location - very seedy part of town - streets dirty and noisy. The apartment had bedding for 4 but only tiny table and 2 chairs. No lounge room, only 2 bedrooms and tiny kitchen. One saucepan but no kettle or toaster. Location, (definitely shouldn't be classed as family!) No kettle Parking. not a very nice part of town located in a red light district.
