What people say
The hotel is very nice, great view and location, and the staffs have been just uber great. Congratulations!!!. Fantastic view and excellent service. The location was superb and being on the water meant that we were away from traffic noise. The ability to open the portholes for fresh air was a definite plus. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed which was a bit of a nuisance. The selection at breakfast was good but could be improved and varied. All in all, much nicer than staying in a hotel. all reviews »
Right in the middle of the old town, cost effective for Stockholm! Cosy rooms and good standard of breakfast! Somewhere to get your head down whilst sightseeing this great city! I was on business but will stay here with wife next time i visit!. Location, views and the charm of staying on a yatch. Very convenient location. Clean. Friendly. Good breakfast. The atmosphere. It is a wonderful boat. Very good location - right by the old town. Nice staff. Free internet connection on one computer at the reception. Very nice buffet breakfast - lots of choice and everything was very fresh. Very comfortable bed. Beautiful boat - lovely carpeting everywhere.Good location, close to the old town and the central station. The character and history of the boat was great. The position of the hotel in the real centre of the city was really great. T-bana station Gamla Stan located really close to the hotel. But as my room was directed to the island and not to the lake, this could be better. The restaurant was closed.Bar closes early and doesn't open during the day. Very quiet - bar and restaurant closed, but then it was early February. In the beginning we were assigned a dirty room. It was not serviced. We were assigned another. It was a reception fault. Also, more heating in the rooms would not hurt. You may be a bit daunted by the shower at first - it is connected to the wash basin tap, so you draw a curtain around yourself and have a shower on the floor. You cannot have two people in the bathroom at the same time. There is also not much room in the room to move around. And we stayed in the First Officer's Cabin! (10 metres squared.). The breakfast could have been a little better, it lacked proper cheese and salami, and the vegatable was not very fresh. Also the breakfast room was very small, with a very few tables, yet too many people. The receptionist always acted as though she had more important things to do than actually look after the guests. The hotel appeared to us as quite old. We should get First Officer room, and the photos from the Internet were really nice looking, but the reality was not so good. Our room was small, in two persons we could not walk in the room without crashing into each other, no place for our baggage, bad view from the windows.
