The hotel itself is pleasant. My room was large, with a double bed, small couch, small entrance hall. The bathroom is equipped with modern fixtures. Location is excellent. The metro station is very close and it is one stop to the center. You can walk to the center in 10 minutes as well. For tourists, it is in the old town and close to a number of sights. This is the second time I have stayed here and once again I was not disappointed. Even though the hotel had not received my booking, the staff were excellent in resolving the problem.

My room was on the first floor on the street so was quite loud on Fri/Sat nights. The room was also a bit warm and stuffy but with the noise, I keep windows closed. The staff provided me with a fan though which came in handy. If you are a light sleeper, I would recommend an inside room.I would have liked the option of having tea and coffee in my room. There were no bottle openers in the rooms we booked and one light bulb was out. The sweet/crisp selection was unnecessary and did nothing to add to the Gustavian atmosphere of the room.One bedspring was broke and disturbed the comfort somewhat. The usual complaint about every hotel room - a little bit too hot. Because of location you can hear the night revellers though it seem to stop after 3 am. not enough hot water at peak times (morning). The double beds are extremely small! Ask for bigger one and do not hesitate to change rooms next day if there is no availability upon your arrival.This is a 3-star hotel, but our standard room was little more than 1 star. The room size is miniscule - we needed to edge sideways to get round the bed, and grope round the toilet to get to the washbasin ledge. There is a basic cupboard around 6 inches deep to hang clothes. A poor experience for £160 1st night. We suffered this 1 night, then got free transfer to much nicer family room, thanks. The room was cold and the radiators were not hot enough. BreakfastCoffee was not good. They should have better coffee, or I will bookanother hotel next time.A waitress didn't knock before coming in the room. The single rooms are really very small; the accomodation booked wasnot respected at our arrival (a double room not available withoutany notice!). Small rooms for the price. Small (crowded) breakfast room.
