Loved the location, right in middle of everything. It;s also walking distance to the train station, about a minute. The hotel for the price was good, the staff nice, the only negative thing I can think of is the smell in the lobby at times it smell like a wet dog, but as soon as it was clean in the morning the smell was gone. I think if I ever go back to Osaka I will get this Hotel again, mostly cause of the location, it made getting around so much easier.
all reviews » Excellent location, 2 mins walk to Namba metro station (to get around the city) & Nankai Namba station (express train to Osaka airport). Come out of Namba metro station exit 6, cross the zebra crossing heading towards the bridge, and walk past the family mart and the hotel is to your left. 10-15 min walk to Dontonburi. The staff all spoke good english, and the facilities were clean. Woud stay again if I came back as the location is hard to beat!. Good location, good room size, cleanliness and value of money Il Cuore is easily accessuible from Namba Subway and Nankai Airport line ..use Exit 5. Hotel is off the main road, so is quiet. It is near the Namba shopping area and Shinshaibashi shopping area. Only problem with the hotel is the airconditioning which seems be centrally controlled .. sometimes warm air even if you chose cool and need Reception to reset. I like the distance from the subway exit (which is exit 5). Just two to three minutes' away. The hotel rooms are clean and airy. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends travelling to Osaka. Happy shopping to nearby areas such Dotonburi, Namba Walk, Shinsabashi (a little far way) and of course Takasyimaya. Also very convenient for travelling to Kansai airport thru Nankai line (three minutes' )walk). The location of the hotel is very strategic, next to Namba station where you get off from the Airport train. It's also within walking distance to many other attractions within the area such as Namba Walk, Namba Park, Takashimaya, Dotombori, Shinsaibashi, Kuromon market etc. Good value for money and highly recommended. Staff are helpful and friendly too. Very good in value, I just find the hotel is very new, clean and cozy even it's small, but everything is there! The water pressure is so good at my room!! Also the location is very convient to the airport and shopping area, but will not be as crowded and nosiy as in the shinsaibashi! I highly recommend this hotel!!. Although we had a dirty towel the first day and managed to get by using a hand towel instead, each time we requested for no packing of our room, the cleaning staff left a fresh bag of bath robes and towels, as well as toiletries on our last day, outside our door. The location is perfect, just 5 minutes from airport train.They have laundry room, microwave, drink machine, ice machine. The room size is not small for Asians. At night the view from my room 1308 was nice. Check in and check out prosess was very simple and quick. Staff are very polite. Language are a the main barrier but there are trying hard the help. The smell in the lobby. Check in time is strictly 3pm, so for those who arrive early in the morning have to either wait or go walking around first. Its a bit uncomfortable if you have been flying throughout the night. Check out is also strictly 11am, if any later than 11.30am you have to pay extra charge. Staff were a little cold and aloof. I didn't find shower cap. Bed is a bit hard. No complanis at all. Compared to several other places I stayed at during my trip, I found the staff were limited in their English skills. Suggest that the check in time can be flexible. A bit peeved when unable to borrow cutlery for use. Hotel could have provided a more precise description of finding the location (we had walked for 30 minutes with heavy backpacks,before finally asking a passer-by direction for direction). Nothing I don't like. Room was small and the central heating only offered heating options, which made the room stuffy at night without opening the windows. Pillows were very hard. Very small deluxe room and toilet shower. Bad view from window looking at rear of offices and restaurants. late check in (after 3pm), electric waterkettle did not work. mhh nothing. Parking is very expensive. The hotel does not have its own lot. You must pay the regular city parking. We paid $100 for four nights. Smoking room - we requested non-smoking rooms on letsbookhotel.com, but the hotel did not provide us non-smoking rooms. We tried to switch, but that was not an option. The rooms smelled very bad. Bathrooms were a but small, hard to move around. We had to leave. I was very happy with my stay. Language is a barrier for the superb service here, but the staffs try all their best to help you. The A/C in the room is all Japanese language, it took me a couple hours to understand how to enable the heater mode. The breakfast is so so. But don't forget that you can walk to dotombori. It's very close to the hotel. Not at all. Nothing. Air conditioner inside the room is not well function. Small room even if it is in the japanese standard. The hotel should provide water dispenser for convinient water refill for travelers. there is a coffee maker at the lobby and it should have water dispenser too. Or else, can place water dispenser at the laundry area together with the ice dispenser OR at every floor near the vending machine. little noisy.
