This guesthouse is an excellent value for the money! It's located in an upscale neighborhood, very close to local pubs and restaurants, and just minutes away from city center by bus - (as well as Dublin Airport - which I was very grateful for, as I had to make an early morning flight out.)
On a couple occasions, I chose to walk to city center, and I found the walk to be very enjoyable.

Donnybrook location is great -- bus stop a block away, and only 10 minutes north you're downtown, 10 minutes sout - Everything was fantastic, the staff went over and beyond what they were required to do. I was very impressed and left with a fabulous well cared for feeling. You have a great place, very comfortable beds and quiet location. The buses were very easy to get also and handy with all the conveniences over the road. Thanks for a 5* experience. I will definitely be recommending it to others. :)

Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom was spacious, and the water pressure in the shower was great. The staff was perhaps the best part of the whole experience. The staff is very attentive careful and friendly, the room is big enough with a huge window and a sink. The linen is snow-white and the bed is really comfortable. Carrolls shop is just opposite. My double room was like two singe rooms on different floors, so that everyone has each own private space. I would definitely stay there next time!

I was greeted personally they called me on my way from the airport. I was dreading the noise as it is in very busy /noisy Temple Bar but my suite ( Bram Stoker) was not on street ... so it was quiet .. and they provide ear plugs . ITs a vry urban environment so if you re looking for views or sense of space its not a place for you. The room are large however and otherwise perfect . Will use it again .

Excellent location. A few minutes walk to Grafton Street. Only about 10-15 min walk to Temple Bar -area or The River Liffey. Very friendly staff. Quite many steps to our room and no lift. Large nice room overlooking the Stephens Green -park. Perhaps a bit pricy but all in all a great place to stay.
