The reception staff were invariably helpful and polite which in branded hotels may not always be the case, and had good tips on places to visit and directions, the room was very clean, the door held open on arrival with a wedge was a very thoughtful touch, as was leaving the window open so the room was airy on arrival rather than stuffy. We would heartily recommend this B+B to others and hope if the comments about the lack of sausages will not result in a future booking being refused. Great.
all reviews » Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom was spacious, and the water pressure in the shower was great. The staff was perhaps the best part of the whole experience. We were able to lock our bags up before checking in so we didn't have to drag them around the city. Also, the staff helped us with directions, provided free maps, and recommended places to eat. We felt very welcome! Highly recommended! My favorite part of our stay was our 5 euro bagged lunch, which was a great deal and. One mature couple, one young couple. Lovely, friendly Emma at the front desk gave us an awesome reception, even though we were quite early. We relaxed in the well-appointed lounge with other travelers while waiting for our rooms. Emma even talked my son in by phone from the city center when he was lost, offering maps and directions with great patience. Our rooms were just perfect for what we needed. The breakfast was a generous buffet, plenty of options. I would definitely go back, and highly r. The room was spacious and clean, my son and partner and I loved the sauna especially as it was a damp old day so warmed us up a treat! And although the room was on the main road, it was quiet and we didn't hear the traffic due to the wonderful triple glazing ! Very well situated for the city centre and the AVIVA Stadium where we went - would recommend and stay again!. Price was very reasonable at €34 for a room close to the city centre. I didn't have breakfast but there was a notice that it was available for €5 (I had it on a previous stay and it was good). Was warm, comfortable, clean. Previous posts state it's noisy in the morning with traffic but I had to be up early anyway so it wasn't a problem. Leeson Lodge House was great, we arrived quite late but the young mad that came to the desk was very helpful. Our room was spotless and breakfast was delicious. There are a number of shops nearby including a great pizza place and a laundrette. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were basic but that is fine, considering the very reasonable price! The location was great, a lovely walk through St Stephen's Green, and then straight onto Grafton Street. Good find. Staff were brilliant. We got lost trying to find the hotel and the receptionist gave us directions over the phone. Very helpful. Room was clean, great value for money.Will definatly stay again. I could use the kitchen. mattress seemed a bit tired, and though we came down to breakfast 15 mins before the end it was a bit disappointing to find hardly any bacon and no sausages left and one wondered whether they had been so good thev earlier risers had had thirds or management had been a bit mean in provisioning breakfast. The location was a little bit further from the city center than we would have liked, but the bus stops right outside the hotel. Two flights of stairs with a big bag (but the receptionist did offer assistance). Separate entrance to the main reception. The name on the building was different - I think it was called Leeson Bridge Hotel which made finding it a little confusing. The room was very small and as we were on the ground floor, road noise was always in the background. Nothing. Street noise at night, but acknowledge that there was nothing that could be done about that. I wasn't overly impressed with the pictures on the internet as it is a lot nicer in reality. I think you should take better pictures to show its standard. The heating system was too hot and there was no option to turn it off or to turn it down. Bathroom had noisy fan and lacked shelf above basin. having to check out at 10 on weekdays-too early. In places the hotel looked a little dated. nothing really slight need of tlc but comfortable. Had to carry luggage up narrow stairs. Nothing we didn't like. Rooms could do with a lick of paint (but weren't dirty). Wifi doesn't get to the 2nd floor so have to use it in lobby downstairs. En suite is a wetroom which didn't affect us but might be an issue for some people. Because of the location, by a main road, it was very noisy. It was hot and we had to keep the window open. The traffic did not let us sleep very well. Really poor Wi-Fi signal. Small rooms and even smaller bathroom, shower was just about the toilet, the watering system of toilet was problematic. Staff were not especially friendly, seemed intent on finishing reading the paper before helping. Doors were always unlocked, even when hotel unattended. Hot water for shower was in low supply. Internet connection did not seem to work at all. Smell of dust and peniciline in the room, no cleaning, spiders in the bathroom, no wi-fi, 8 TV channels (no music channels), small room, window doesn't opened etc... Never stop in this hotel!. There were bugs in my bed . I couldn't sleep well. I asked to change room but they refused. they just changed the bed linen. the room was N. 130.
