The hotel was very clean and comfortable and we were made to feel most welcome. The location is great, being a few minutes walk to St. Stephen's Green and Grafton Street. There was a good variety of food places within a couple of blocks, along with ATM's. The location is great, right in the center and near Trinity where I was working, also very near shops. Really nice room and most of all excellent value for money.

There is no restaurant but that is cancelled out by a very good spar just up the road for breakfast and plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking disance. Other reviews had warned us about any negatives such as thin walls, no elevator and specific front desk hours, so we weren't upset about anything.Small rooms, change of furniture and mattress would be welcome, double-glazed windows would be nice. N/A.no elevator. no breakfast availible on site. one had to go to a cafe to get breakfast. Was relatively expensive compared to room standard. but that might have been because it was marathon week. . Creaky floorboards and television is in awkward place for viewing from bed. Kettle area could do with a little more space. not a convenient location for the airport shuttle. no lift. the walls were too thin - we could hear the neighbor's television. the rooms could use a good deep cleaning.1. I would advise the management to hire some Irish staff to show them how to do reception and breakfast. room not as booked, breakfast service unavailable,. no housekeeping one day. No breakfast until 8.30 am, reception not manned when I was leaving around 7.00 am. The website advertises parking, but this is only available up to 8am. Check out time is 11 not 12. A lot of traffic noise. pretty far from the heart of the city, strange smell, small bathroom, very squeaky floor boards, no breakfast. shabby,needing renovation. Offered a continental breakfast, but delivered hot drink, toast and muesli only. Shabby hotel. The beds where unbelievably small, I am by no means a giant about 5”11’ and my girlfriend 5”5’ and both average build but the beds where far too small to get a comfortable nights sleep on. This had a nasty knock on effect to the enjoyment of our stay in Dublin.The damp walls, lack of upkeep to paint etc. There was no lift facility. Room and bathroom were old and not very clean. Room was noisy. Instead of buying a flat screen tv, they should spend some money for the carpet and the furniture of the room.it was far too expensive for the standard of hotel. we had no hot water for whole period we stayed there and then the discount at the end of the week was very poor. Rude, charisma-bereft reception staff who photocopied my ID without permission or explanation; the bedroom not made up at 4p.m.; a dreadful smell everywhere; cramped conditions; lack of air conditioning; a shower that didn't work; stained furniture and a ludicrous, excessive room rate.

When you exit the arrival hall, turn left and you will see the bus stop for the Aircoach Bus, which goes to the city centre. The nearest bus stop to the Fitzwilliam Townhouse is Merrion Square, we are a 10-minute walk away. Walk up Merrion Street and at the next set of traffic lights, turn left
into Lower Baggot Street. Continue forward for approximately 400 metres and the Fitzwilliam Townhouse is located at the next junction (Baggot St. Lower and Fitzwilliam St. Upper) on the right.
