It was great for 4 friends out on the town!!. room was fantastic very helpfull and let us stay in room longer than 12 for no extra charge. The room was really nice, very comfortable. The power shower was lovely.very friendly and helpful. Everything was awesome. great roooms good pub. Showed up 9am and though checkin wasnt until 2pm, the staff kept our cases so we could go and have breakfast/explore. Room was small but lovely, decorated in a contemporary style and overlooking the main street through Temple Bar- good for people-watching! Bathroom was fab, huge shower. Beds v comfortable. Gd value considering excellent location. Separate entrance from pub and we were given a key each.Great location for getting around the city. Very central. Great showerand very relaxed pub underneath. No fussy forms or checking inprocess...guy in pub just asks your name, gives you the key and showsyou the door. Very easy. The location, The lay out and decor of the room. The shower was one of the best showers i have ever used!. Friendly Helpful Staff, Brilliant Room, Superb Location in temple Bar. great rooms - impressive shower! would have been nice to get a double bed as per request on order form. Good central location and modern, clean room. Excellent shower. The location is brilliant. The room is very modern.Location:in the heart of temple bar, easy walking distance to grafton street, o'connell st etc. modern and comfortable decor and drinks amenities in room. private entrance to rooms from street which made it easy to come and go. Excellent location. Staff attended to all are request immediately.Privacy, excellent location. Location. The hotel has a very good location right in the center of Dublin, which allowed us to easy stroll around. The rooms are not very big but have nice modern look and all that is necessary for a short city break. Nice clean room, with a large ensuite including a jacuzzi bath! Excellent guinness and great location.Good things: It is centrally located and the staff is helpful.(They let me use my room even though I'd arrived a few hours beforecheck in time.). Great centeral location and lovely room. Amazing value. The staff we dealt with prior to check in at at check in were absolutelywonderful-- went way above and beyond to accomodate us!!! The rooms werenice, clean, and comfortable. And, the location, geographically, isconvenient for sight seeing in Dublin. Great location near Temple Bar. CLose to all the pub and music scene.Location, Amenities and cleanliness. slightly noisy at night but this wasnt a bother to either of us.breakfast would be a bonus but no big deal, as there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. No socket near the only mirror-had to dry my hair without looking (not gd!) Is a busy area but went to the club opposite til 3am, when we came out it was deserted so no problem going to sleep. Couldnt open the skylights and needed few more towels. Didnt know there wasnt a lift so had to struggle up 4 flights of stairs with a case, though Id just had a stomach op. No phone in room to call out/staff. Temple Bar is a very noisy area but it's the road cleaning at 4-5am thatannoys most. Nothing!. Although the street beneath the hotel was noisy during the night, as other reviews had noted, this was not a problem for me. power shower was not all that powerful-came on in fits and starts.3rd floor walk up. I would like to have had an elevator. The street noise was loud, but only up to about 3pm, then it was much quieter. Also a ceiling fan or airconditioning to circulate the air, would have been great. Price. Since you're in the center of temple bar it tends to be quite noisy during the night we needed to wear ear pluggs to have a good nights sleep. The windows should be able to keep the noise out but htey don't. The first night we woke early due to a noise, which was possibly air conditioning. It was coming from above us on the roof. The second morning it was a lot quieter. My only complaint was the noise. IThe hotel rooms are above a pub and myroom overlooked a street. So even after pub hours there were merrymakers out making whoopy followed by street cleaning machines. Thecommotion did not subside until 4 am. This is not necessarily a reflection on Farrington's specifically, butif you value sleep at all, do not stay in Temple Bar!! We could hearevery word, scream, song, and toast from the bar below and from thestreet. This hotel is across from a night club and the crowd isindescribably loud and obnoxious until 4 am. It almost ruined our wholetrip, unfortunately.Yes. This place is loud. The soundproffing between the room and thestreet was very, very poor. Unless you want to stay up all night, do notstay here. No staff available 24 hours.
