Nestled on a side street in Temple Bar, our family of 3 had to walk to the top floor. Fortunately, the small, lobby had a luggage storage closet, where we could leave our suitcases for the night. The room was modest but adequate and clean, with full en suite facilities. The desk staff was accommodating and very friendly. They even held a package that was mailed to them for us and arranged for an early morning taxi to the airport. Because of the very narrow walk-up for a triple, this would be a .

It was very good value and the rooms very cosy and warm with no noise of traffic or night clubbers from the street. While at reception I observed that some of the people checking in had stayed in the hotel several times a very good indication of any business when the customer / client does repeat business. We loved it, central situation in the city and inside the Temple Bar quarter. Very quiet even if there si a bar just along the corridor. We heard just a few steps early in the evening but did not last. The staff was friendly, the ladies were adorable. She sealed my parking ticket and I got discount!. Staff were very friendly,always a greeting with a smile.Excellent breakfast,enjoyed thoroughly.location is great,for a good knees up,very noisy outside until well into the wee hours,but seen as I was outside with them,I didn't notice.very cosy hotel,would definitely recommend. Our triple room was in an area not served by the elevator, and the narrowness of the stairs necessitated our leaving our luggage in a lobby closet. But i'm a heavy sleeper and if you want quiet, don't stay in Templebar, especially not in a place next to a night club. (As all these reviews point out) The reception lady didn't seem happy to ne there. But I guess we can't all be merry unicorns. I didn't pay much and I think it's way way better than a hostel!. Walls are like paper so quite noisey, but ear plugs are provided and these worked a treat. Not noisey people shouting just waking about. A bit cramped, but I guess it goes with the territory. Theres a disco on until 3am and is noisy even on the 2nd floor. The room is very basic and wasn't refurbished in years. The hotel is not a 2 star. - No wifi! Even in public areas!!!. Quite noisy on the first floor as there is a bar downstairs could bother someone but it didn't bother me. Breakfast looked great value at €6. It was very poor. When someone at an adjacent table asked for brown bread they were told it would be a while as no one wanted to go to the shop to get some. decoration. rooms need to be modernised through out and also double glazed windows would be a big plus. De rooms are very basic a new kettle wudnt go a miss but u get wat u pay for. Dated, too basic and not very spacious. Tv had 2 channels and no remote control. Bathroom was very damp. Overall the place needs a lick of paint Andorra thought about its customers. Had a dreadful greeting by the night receptionist, first impressions are vital and I am afraid he failed in all aspects. Apart from that would stay at hotel again for convenience alone. No wifi, place could do with a little rennovaing. The room had a bad odour. One mattress had a huge dent in it from obvious overuse. The room was very expensive. Hotel could use a refresh. It is a bit tired. External noise continues until the early hours - which is fine as long as you are part of the noise, but not if you need sleep. Rooms tired and dated, shabby paint etc. Bathroom poor, mouldy shower doors, mis matched basin taps, , cracked tiles in shower and missing waste cover in shower quite hazardous. Very very noisy due to central location and people coming out of nightclub next door to have a cigarette in the street. At least 2 indiscreet porn shops close by. - worth noting is you're taking children. When we got to our room in the hall there was bits of wall lying all over the floor. Someone elses bedroom left wide open and two people running around shouting. The floor boards in the bedroom, everyone of them were creeking and wobbly, the tap in the bathroom was loose and didnt work very well. The room smelled a bit. And there was a "baggie" lying on the floor outside on of the room aswel. It may have been cheap but I would rather pay the extra for a better hotel. the room was small bed was very uncomfortable the door to the room was insecure in that you very easaly push it in with your shoulder and the noise from disco next door was bad also a generator hummed all night. Smelly (smoking) room. Room size was cramped. TV didnt work properly. Matress was old and worn out. No Wifi and bed was beyond uncomfortable. Room too poor. room was extreemly noisey there was no hot water in the shower. noise +++ blocked sink no wifi. no connectors for electricity. Very basic & old. Fixtures and fittings like the door handle and toilet were loose. Noisy (rooms facing the street). It was extremely noisy and the kettle in our room did not work.
