I was greeted personally they called me on my way from the airport. I was dreading the noise as it is in very busy /noisy Temple Bar but my suite ( Bram Stoker) was not on street ... so it was quiet .. and they provide ear plugs . ITs a vry urban environment so if you re looking for views or sense of space its not a place for you. The room are large however and otherwise perfect . Will use it again .

Absolutely loved this hotel! Was weighing up whether to stay at the Westbury or her and we were so glad we picked the Shelbourne! It is just in a class of its own and seems to have more on at night too. You could just sit in the elegant foyer and people-watch all day! Great location only a couple of kms from dublin's city centre yet set in a peaceful and quiet street in a lovely old building overlooking a garden out the back. Rooms were small yet cosy and very comfortable. Wifi worked in the rooms fine and free parking was very convenient. Every room had a parking space alotted to it... Was close to the cityonly cost €15 for taxi and they were continously passing the door. Theresidents bar was brilliant and alot cheaper than dublin prices!!! Andthere was no real closing time aslong as we didnt get too round. One ofthe most comfortable bed i've ever slept in! It is a half a block away so it made it easy to find the city bus tours and the tourism office. The beds were very comfortable which was a definite plus. They also have two guest computers that you can you use for free 24 hours a day. They were sometimes busy, but there was always a chance to use them.

Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom was spacious, and the water pressure in the shower was great. The staff was perhaps the best part of the whole experience. Location was great, couldnt ask for a better place.
Easy to find, and relatively comfortable. I was worried about security of my things before I got there, but once I arrived I felt it would be okay to leave items in my room and had no problems.
Can't ask fora better price. $90USD for 3 nights in the heart of Dublin.
