What I loved about our stay at the Fitzwilliam Hotel was the warm welcome we received from the staff at reception upon our arrival. All the staff were happy and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel room was gorgeous, it was huge and it was clean with a lovely bathroom. The food was amazing too. This hotel was above five star quality. It is a fantastic place to stay as it is in the heart of the city and I will have to stay here again with my boyfriend.

It's not a 5 star but 4 star hotel...Bed was way too small for a luxury hotel, horrible blanket on the bed and bad pillows also. Lights were tricky too, couldn't get the bathroom light to go on during the night, had to turn on the main lights. My booking made a good few weeks in advance was not granted. I had asked for a twin and a double next door to each other. When we arrived, we had 2 doubles 20 rooms apart. We asked to change and were told it was not possible. I also had to ask 3 times for slippers to be left in our executive room!. the rooms were too small i requested a smoking room only to be given a room with a balcony and told i should smoke on the balcony. there was no centralised AC which meant i had a split unit which rattled a lot despite asking thme to fix it. The private bar was locked and had to get them to unlock it which took 2 days. small pocky room and bathroom.

Thornton’s is the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant and is considered by foodies to be Dublin’s finest restaurant. By Car (from the south):
- Take the N11 and follow the signs for Dublin’s city centre.
- Drive though Donnybrook, over Leeson Street Bridge.
- Take the right turn, around St Stephen’s Green, and the hotel is located on the west side of the green, after you have passed the top of Grafton Street.

Parking:
