Rooms were spacious clean and very comfortable. Staff were all very polite and friendly. Breakfast was lovely. All in all great value for money. The staff was absolutely fantastic in every area and did their up most to assist us. ved it all would have loved to stay longer will deffo go back. Staff very good and kind,food 100% all very good. Friendly staff, nice and dining. On bus line.
all reviews » Very spacious room. Very good value. The Room was very spacious. Breakfast was perfect. Very near the city. staff were great. Very close to Blarney Castle. Hotel older and not very modern, but good value for money. Breakfast was excellent and staff were delightful. Very convienient location. Food was good but full breakfast was a bit greasy. Nothing. There was an issue with smoking in the room prior to us. Staff relocated us quickly. Also there was one staff member who was rude to a fellow worker and ignored our request due to a personality clash, she was unprofessional. 1 downside was a fire alarm kept activating woke me up with a startle a couple of times. House kepping to improve. Radiator pipes making knocking noise all night leading to very disturbed nights sleep. Nothing. I found no problem with your hotel staff were very nice. no food on sunday evening. There was only a bath in my room, it had a shower attachment but no shower curtain... Rooms were adequate but by no means spotless. Plug beside the would have been nice for phone charger. Also walls are very thin so I could hear everything my neighbours got up to. Not ideal. The room cost €129, it was an outrageous price for what we got... There were advertisements up in the hotel and on the roadside advertising the room rate as €49, which would have been ok...obviously the weekend that was in it we got robbed!! Clean hotel, handy for one night but not at that price!. Musty smell in hallway to bedrooms no sockets beside beds ceiling damp in ensuite and shower was cold and drainage slow in showers, in need of repair and decorating. Would not recommend hotel for for children. Rooms and common areas very tired and cheaply outfitted. On arrival the bedroom was cold. When reporting this to reception, we were told the heating doesn't,t come on till 18.30 . Later was much better but the following morning no heat came on at all. Staff appeared to be unconcerned and off hand. Breakfast was poor. Would never consider staying here again. It smelled must have been recently. Bedroom was grotty bedcovers were stained. shower door fell on top of me, resturant floor was sticky and dirty and it was dark and dingy. The commons hotel is old and worn out and should be closed down and revamped.
