The location is excellent right on the beach but also easy walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. The staff were extremely helpful and all of them were really friendly at all times. The pool was lovely and clean, and you get fresh towels for the pool each time you go. There were always enough sunbeds and the service everywhere was great. The restaurant served good food at good prices. The rooms were also excellent, I felt that the bathrooms could have been a tiny bit cleaner and t.
all reviews » My Deluxe room was comfortable, spacious and quiet and just a short stroll to pool and beach. The location is superb set right on e beachfront to swim, walk along the beach, surf, have a massage, and simply relax. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and always ready to assist. The hospitality shower was greatly appreciated long after check-out and before departing for the airport for a late night flight. It sas great to still be able to use the amenities and conti ue to enjoy this very nice. This was the perfect hotel. I always read the reviews before I book, and this hotel absolutely lived up to my expectations. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The location is ideal - right on the beach - and it faces west, so you can watch the Balinese sunset. I had a suit custom-made right in the hotel, overnight. The gentleman who checked us in noticed from my wife's passport that the following day was her birthday, and had the bellman bring over some cake for us! What a. The room was very modern, large, and clean. The entire hotel is quite large, yet still delivers an intimate feel. The best thing about the hotel is the that it stretches down to the beach, with the horizon splash pool overlooking the sea, just gorgeous! The pool has an in-water bar area for those in need. The location and room 310. Everything was excellent. Everything was great. I have nothing negative to say about the hotel. However, I will offer a word of advice to travelers - don't rent a car! Every time we drove the car, we took our life in our hands. There are motorbikes everywhere, swarming around like flies...and we're not used to driving on the left side of the road. You can easily walk into town from the hotel. Everything is relatively cheap, and it makes more sense to hire a driver if you want to sightsee. No elevator!! Kept us fit carrying our chubby 7 month old around let me tell you! Also, it was a little bit tired looking (as anything that isnt brand new in the tropics gets a bit tired looking) its not the fanciest hotel ever but it was an absolutely fantastic location, everything was clean and functional, staff were a delight. The only thing is that our aircon did work but it just wasnt cool enough. Drinks in the bar were too expensive. leaving. The free wifi - internet was usually too slow to be of any use, kept timing out. But luckily I wasn't really there to use the internet. :). i only had 6 nights. Breakfast was very poor, no cheese or ham selections. The sheets were always clean, but not white at all. service by the pool can be slow. Room are now slightly dated, but still perfectly fine. Disappointed with the opening and closing time of the pool. Balconies too small. Would have preferred safes in the room. Not enough TV programes. their dinner menu and wine were poor. But to be fair the wine in Bali is poor. the hotel restaurant was empty, but just down the beach were good eating spots. nothing. Bed linen towels could be upgraded and rooms a little old fashioned just average. Nothing to dislike about this hotel. Perhaps security is the only thing I would not rate as excellent as people could walk up from the beach and into the hotel but I think they have security guards. The bathroom was very small. Had to have a shower in the bath. We were told we were getting a room with a balcony and we didn't. Access to the rooms can be tricky as they dont have elevator and you need to walk quite far to get in to your room. Pool is nice but should have been temp controlled. Nothing. rooms without view on the beach. Aircon in room was not cold - room was too hot. need to be care about mosquittos，bite me allover at night。. 1. hotel restaurant not great 2. buffet breakfast not great 3. no one in the restaurant!. The towels could have been cleaner. They didn't feel like they had been cleaned properly. Poor restaurant. Can be improved with not too much effort. Too many steps up and down. Whatever level your room was on you had to go up and down some quite high steps to get to the lobby or restaurant. Not good for older travellers. No lifts!. Poor breakfast. Taxi not being allowed to pick you up from the hotel. No fresh milk for tea & coffee making and not enough bottled watered. Carrying a pram up and down stairs every time we went somewhere. A ramp joining the floors would be nice.
