We had a large, nicely furnished room with a comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast was great. The lounge was nice and our bartender was very friendly. The location was good, within walking distance of the old town. We would definitely stay there again. The room 412 was the biggest room I've ever seen in a hotel :) The staff was great and polite ...excellent location,near the city center and Oktoberfest...

The Hotel was very central for using the station and all types of rail travel to get around both the city and further out of town. You had to request a kettle for your room. no airconditioning in the room.so it was stuffy as the window could not be opened - too much noise. The noise very early in the morning and the fact that in the first and second day I had an old and out of servive TV, after that was changed. Room was not ready for us when we arrived, but we were given drinkswhich were appreciated. Room did not have air con. But there was a fanin the room which was all that was needed.I booked from the 6th to the 11th November. The price for 6th - 10th Nov was Euro109 per day. The price for 10/11th Nov was Eur269 per day because "there is an exhibition" I do not think this was fair to me as a visitor. I was a tourist and did not visit or participate in "the exhibition". Tho it is conveniently located near the station/downtown (including good tram access), the neighbourhood's many strip clubs/sex shops/casinos and ethnic mix may not be to all visitors' tastes.noise outside the hotel in the early morning... Like others, I found the room got far too hot/stuffy and the room suffered badly from street noise (even 7 floors up!). The street is noisy throughoout the night in a front room and our booking was incorrect as we booked a triple room and got a double with an extra bed. the young man (relief barman) on the evening of Wed 10th Dec. chose to ignore us whilst we sat at the bar waiting to be served for several minutes whilst he carried out table clearing etc. possibly this was due to his inexperience and was the only negative in our otherwise very pleasant and friendly stay.Only the ac. No a/c in the room. The only thing I could mention here - it is a noise on the street coming through the window early in the morning at the time when numerous loadings-unloadings are made somethere bellow your window. Actually you can not sleep after 5 A.M. because of the outer noise. As I found out - the same was with my neignbors. I do not exclude that it is not so in rooms with windows to the other side. We booked a double non smoking room. But, due to a mistake, we got first a single room, and finally we got a smoking room.Request for non smoking room was only taken into account after a discussion despite advance request. Noise - very noisy at night outside the hotel which interrupted sleep. It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Not great for long stay - no restaurant/ snacks available other than breakfast. No smoking area within hotel. No concerige service for the luggage. old fashioned ...ther was renovation in the hotel and it was noisy. Matresss and the soft pillows.

From the South: Take the A95 via 'Harras' in the direction of the city centre. We are located in the city centre, 100 metres from the main train station and close to all major sights.

From the East: Take the A8 across the River Isar to Schwanthalerstraße. We are located in the city centre, 100 metres from the main train station and close to all major sights.

Public transport:
S-trains S1-8 and Underground U1/U2/U4/U5/U7/U8 stops for the "Hauptbahnhof" (central station). From there, proceed over the Goethestraße to the Schwanthalerstraße junction (5 minutes walking distance).
