Friendly staff, very clean and nice room. Location is near to train station. The helpful manner of the manager. Very convenient for the metro. People very friendly. Staff were great no problems there and one particular lad on the desk who worked till the 10pm shift was excellent,and very helpful.The hotel was well situated too for attractions and the railway station which was only a 5 minute walk.
all reviews » As we were 4 days in Paris and spent a lot of time in the city, the hotel was in perfect position to metro and comfortable enough to have a rest after whole day walking. The entrance, the noise of building work in an adjacent building andnoisy corridors and stairs due to being uncarpeted. You would have tobe fit as there is no elevator and the stairs are steep and narrow.We were on the 5th floor and it was an effort. It would be a shamenot to recommend it but there are the previously noted disadvantagesto consider. There are 6 floors, a steep spiral staircase and no lift.Bit hot and stuffy. Poor cleaning of the room (rubbish bins not emptied, no floor cleaning); complete lack of sound insulation (noise from the corridor and slamming doors).Restricted television channels (i.e no sport channels). There were some issues like: the shower was broken (though promptly fixed when reported to the reception), the hot water was not available at some points (seems like there was a reservoir that was running out and you have to wait until it's full and heated again) and it was noisy - doors slamming and once there was a big bang at night and the sound of breaking glass (we didn't find out what it was. no lift there. it was really difficult to stay in the 4th or 5th floor with big luggages!! we requested to the hotel for the 1st or 2nd floor 2 weeks before arrival but they did not manage it upon arrival. The room had an open toilet and shower. Also the reception area was not very nice.Breakfast was poor, didn't bother after the first morning. Hotel shared its central courtyard with a factory entrance, very noisy from 7.30am. No lift, and staircase very steep. Cleanliness was realy poor, during the night was 2 fire alarmes because of nothing and staff didn´t want to accomodate my college, whenever he had a reservation too. Then they gave him some single room but wasn, t clean at all.The location is terrible, the entrance to the hotel is in an alley. The man at the reception barely speaks english. They had problems with the hot water. There is no elevator. I would never recommend this hotel. Dear, I have very bad experience with a hotel taxi. By the reason of problem with this bad reservation from the hotel´s management I and my family did not overtake our back fly and I had to use next fly and buy new fly tickets for me and my wife and daughter (total cost EUR 1756,- fly tickets and EUR 105 taxi)...very bad experience and I am awaiting restitucion from the hotel!!!! Help me, please!. Above a sex shop next to a motown bar that had live music every night until at least 2 am, 4 to 4.30 on Saturday. Unable to sleep during this time extremely loud. Very basic room, no lift. the hotel's charmless entrance off the street in an atrium and construction works going on in the courtyard - no elevator - soundproofing from adjacent rooms ok but poor from hallways - no international channels on tv and no remote control - breakfast and breakfast room very basic with no daylight but construction noise instead - price too high. Very poor sound proofing in hotel. Very small rooms. the staff, especially the receptionnist (a girl). On Saturday, the shower had been broken by the cleaner. When I called the receptionnist, she said to me to wait until Monday! Very, very noisy place and cold - there was no sufficient heating. Plus, the phone for international has never worked in three days.Everyday the water in the bathroom went cold. They said it was a problem in the water heating system, but they never solved it completely. Next day, it happened all over again. No elevator. The room´s phone didn´t work. Noise all night from outside and from inside the hotel, due to the poor sound isolation of the walls. The entrance is quite weird!!. This type of hotel is bed name on booking .com. 6 Floor No elevator. Cold water in the shower. Doubleroom only one small bed. No door to teh toilet. bad service,approximate cleanliness,no hot water,no elevator,etc etc. only cold water!!! and no elevetor, stayed at 6th floor. the room had no hot water, it was on 5th floor with no lifts,no heating in room . so i thing i have not seen any worst room like in my life.
