After traveling and staying at budget friendly accommodations, this was a VERY welcome treat. My kids and I were treated extremely well. From the front desk check in until check out, we were very pleased with our stay. The room had an excellent view of the harbour and Concierge was very helpful. They even held our bags after check out until we needed to leave for the airport - FREE. Friendly staff. Nice outdoor pool and fitness room. Free milk and cookies for the kids. Great location close to the Waterfront SkyTrain station. Canada Place and the Fly-Over Canada attraction are right across the street. Great harbour views. We had a room with a garden patio on the same level as the pool and fitness room.
all reviews » Very nice hotel with a good atmosphere. Rooms are spacious, very clean, modern and well appointed. WiFi is free if you join the Fairmont Presidents Club which is also free, just need to register. The harbour is just across the road so is ideal for some nice walks and access to waterfront restaurants. One of the finest Hotels I have stayed in. Impeccable service and all other facilities. Staff were aware of your name and nothing was too much trouble. An excellent location for all that Vancouver offers to the visitor for leisure or business. A joy to stay at the Hotel. Great hotel in the best location for seeing all of Vancouver, near buses, taxis, boats and Gastown, easy to walk from here as well. Very helpful staff and great service. Very comfy beds and rooms. Sloppy housekeeping at times: the cleaner forgot personal items in my room, didn't clean the countertop properly. Shower wasn't cleaned properly ( some hair was left in the soap dish ). Staff at check- in was not at all helpful. Did not inform me of any services offered at the hotel, not friendly. the breakfast served on your gold floor was cold. didn't like the view, customer service was awesome!. Tours booked were not picked up at hotel but made to walk to other locations, Also tour was 1/2 hour late but ended the correct time. Nothing. Cost of meals and drinks expensive so did not use. Nothing at all!. Internet costs were over 10% of the bill everywhere else in Canada thet are free. The Spa was out of action and access to the pool was a long outdoor walk in -4 temp?.
