The hotel is located just a few steps from the u of Toronto main campus and Royal Ontario Museum. It's a 10-minute walk to the East to Yonge St and a 20-minute walk South to China town for a great selection of Chinese restaurants. It is a 2-minute walk to the St George station which allows you to take the subway to go East, West, North and South. The staff has kept my room clean and tidy during the 2 nights I stayed.

The neighborhood to the west had many restaurants. The location is the best. It's right on the subway and a close walk to lots of shopping.Beds are very comfortable.this is my fourth stay in this location. Good location in major shopping area of Toronto. The rooms were well done and clean. The beds very comfortable. Convenient to public transport too. The price was awesome, it was in the perfect location for us, it was very clean and well maintained, and I would absolutely stay here again. Very quiet street at night. It forced me out of the room to look for dinner however, because of the safe neighbourhood it wasn't a problem.Consider this comment simply a word of warning. Not a complaint. Parking fee high. There are only a couple of places to have breakfast near by.One good and one not so good. Restaurant/bar wasn't very appealing. I wish parking was included in the price of our one night stay. Some staff did not know enough about Toronto current activities; a concierge would really have been a help. Lobby was too dark and dated, not welcoming. Some of the linens need replacing and brightened up decor would add a lot. No fridge. No closet. The Parking was too expensive and Hotel Customers should be given a Discount however small. If Cards are switched at checkout then the Money should be returned Promptly. I had a problem with the Hotel holding on to my Funds and had to make several Phone calls to have my spending Money released. We didn't like that there was no fridge in the room, that many TV channels were static, the complimentary shampoo/conditioner are nice to have but the smell wasn't great, also the carpet in the hallway was not in good shape. Lastly, the front desk had no bags except plastic laundry bags. Having kraft paper bags would be nice for guests when they've accumulated things durin their stay. Thank you. distance from downtown. Decor was tired and stuck in the 1980s and the bathroom was that nasty pre-moulded synthetic material with a very shallow bath tub and cheap toiletries. As expected though. The price is high without breakfast. No facility. bed was awful, too soft. Fitness facility was dated and not very clean. all the facilities are little bit old. Breakfast room is just terribly unattractive: makes you feel you want to run away. Rooms are not adequately noise insulated. Restaurant availability. Rooms were too warm - temperature control did not work. old and tired and somewhat dingy. Not clean, rooms are dusty, furniture old. Elevator noise Breakfast served in bar with one waitress, withouT a buffet which you would find at other holiday inn hotels.
