Central location,very well appointed and comfortable, good breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had a room overlooking courtyard which was very quiet. The staff is very customer centric, the loft where we stayed was amazing and the location is excellent. Convenient location near the center, helpfull staf, very nice room (loft), good breakfast. Paying Internet; Paying garage.Problem with air conditioning - room too hot. Lot of road noise from front of hotel with open window. Wet ja cold, heater is needed. A/C did not work all my 4 nighs! It was approx 35 deg.C warm in the room and I could'nt sleep well. No discount given on hotel price. Breakfast area is bad and small, with poor variority of food, for instance no sliced bread for the toast. Coffee machine was a joke, I had to cue for 10 minutes to get a regular coffe, milk /cappuchino was not available. Why staff can not serve coffe at the tables?. On the first night there was no heat in the room and no hot water. The heat and water were not fixed for 24 hours. The room was absolutely freezing and we couldn't have a shower. We booked a superior room in a 4 star hotel. The room was dark, there were no small things like slippers, bathrobes. On the second day the lights, hairdrier etc did not work so between everything it was an extremely disappointing place to stay.

Breakfast is served during the following hours: 06:30 – 10:00 during the week 07:00 – 10:30 during the weekend TRAVEL PLAN Continuing the highway E17/E40 towards Ghent take the exit Ghent-Centrum (B401). Follow ‘All directions’ (alle richtingen), turn left under the bridge of the highway and follow the direction of Eeklo. You will be driving on the Sint-Lievenslaan. At the second traffic lights, there is a dubble intersection, continue to the right towards Eeklo. Continue to follow this ring (Charles de Kerckhovelaan, Martelaarslaan, Einde were). At the intersection ‘Einde Were – Nieuwewandeling’, turn right towards Ghent centrum – Gevangenis. Continue the ‘Nieuwewandeling (N430) until the intersection Coupure rechts, where you turn light and follow the road straight ahead. Turn left onto Papegaaistraat. Continue onto Annonciadenstraat. Continue onto Gebroeders Vandeveldestraat. Turn left onto Onderbergen. Continue onto Sint-Michielshelling. Sint-Michielshelling turns left en becomes Sint-Michielstraat. Turn right onto Poel.
