Upon arrival the hospitality was amazing especially since we arrived late! The apartment was very spacious, and fully loaded with everything you would expect in a functioning home. This suited us as we were a group of 9 persons! Maps of the town and instructions for appliances were also left for us to operate with ease. Also liked the help and assistance given by the owner and her representative, excellent! This apartment suited our purposes perfectly. It isn't new and flash, older but renovated and clean. Excellent, high standard, modern apartment. Very enjoyable stay. 1 double bed and 2 sofa beds, all very comfortable. Short (max. 5 minutes) walk to all the city centre attractions. Location was close to the city centre. The decor was modern -particularly appreciated by our 12 year old daughter. Good information on Ghent provided: shops etc. the apartment was very nice and close to the old center we had lots of restaurants nearby they have lots of apartments ,so choose wisely. The only bad thing i could say, and maybe because of a highly sensitive nose, is that when the shower is used or the toilet, a feint smell of sewage spreads through the apartment, but this only lasts for a few minutes. Nothing!. Silky, shiny duvet cover. no washing machine it was on the second floor ,so was a bit hard as i have young children. Some parts in the apartment were a little bit dusty, but I'm sure they will work on it. Stairs would make this unfit for people having difficulties in moving, no reception desk so little improvisation needed. Steep stairs. n/a. Small bedroom without wardrobe. Toilet and bathroom is difficult to use for guest No.5,6 This apartment suit for only 5 not 6.
