EXCELLENT service from ALL reception staff. Clean. Easy access to trams, being location on St Kilda Road. Great cafe. Good shower (altho over bath) value for money. Location idea for us as our conference was just round the corner! Accessibility was great - plenty of tramp-carts to parts of the city. Very friendly and helpful staff, rooms very neat & clean, excellent location with public transport right at the door.

(you have to wonder why cleaning staff dont address this) Except for 1st day, bed extremely hurriedly made (I have funny photo as proof!) Lifts VERY slow. No gymn but was ok as there is a park for jogging except we were there during f1 season and it was closed!. new coat of paint on walls would improve appearance, or at least, clean marks off the walls. Nothing. Expensive Internet and the reception service was slow at times. Restaurant bar closed early. The outside of the building looked run down and not very inviting. don't provide free Wifi. very limited parking with narrow spaces, difficult to manouevre around. nosiey guests foreign. no bottled water in the rooms. Size of parking bays, luckily there were not a lot of cars parked in the parking area. Customer service Unfriendliness Lack of effort from staff. Bathroom was a bit dated. The discounted rate we paid was about right but if i was paying the full rate I would have expected the facilities to be more modern and up to date. Not much cafe 'life' at weekends. Why we paid for parking when there was free parking on the streets was a waste of money didnt reliase until it was too late. Design of shower area, towels could be cleaner. Entire stay disrupted by window cleaners on wires thumping their feet against the windows. Really noisy and lasted all day. Worst shower I've ever had had to do a rain dance to get wet no fun after a 12 hour day. Reception staff was not helpful or friendly at all. Service - unfriendly staff, booking lost, did not tidy room properly, cleaners came at 8.15 am!. It was sparse, relatively costly and the shower was terrible. Staff could not programme room entry key, so I had to be let in each time I wanted to return to the room. Restaurant/bar average quality only. No soap in bathroom, only squirty liquids. Rooms were dirty and linen not changed for the week of our stay. I didn't think that is was clean the lift doors had dirty marks all over. I was put into a room where there was no toilet seat lid and look like it was for a person in a wheel chair. It had no comforts for me at all. I would not recommend staying there. Web site advertised 11.00am depart, was strictly 10.00 am, also breakfast included, deal was misleading,guests can only choose one item off the menu and one cup of coffee/tea.Again a falsely advertised item which I found grossly misleadind. It also took 40 mins to get my breakfast. Compared to other establishments this was very poor value and service.
