Bar staff were excellent. booking in staff were friendly and efficient. We paid for a cheaper room without a view. Bed was very comfortable. airconditioning was efficient and worked. It wasn't noisy. Close to trams on St Kilda Road. Overall, very good value for money, food was great, breakfasts were terrific, staff werer friendly and clean hotel.

Rooms were very clean and bed was comfortable. Parking for $10 was fantastic and staff were friendly. The hotel isn't that new or fancy but the location is great and we were very happy with the room. I would definitely stay again. The staff were friendly and helpful. My meal in the restaurant exceeded expectations and the service was excellent. The bar and pool area was comfortable and congenial for an after show drink. The room was clean and spacious. The location very convenient, with a tram stop just a block away. The staff were friendly and helpful. Proximity to my conference a the Pullman Hotel which had been booked out. This turned out to be a better choice of hotel as the conference hotel was fully booked and services like breakfast were very busy. My room was very comfortable. Very easy to all the places we needed to travel to, as well as public transport being a breeze half a block away. Would have been upgraded except for a wedding having the place filled so got free parking instead. Thanks Bayview, nice touch. Absolutely fantastic service, facilities, and value. Will definitely stay again, we were in a standard queen which is fine if your are on a budget as we were. I arrived at my room at 11pm and the rooms on both sides of mine had noisy guests. On raising this issue with reception I was offered a quiet room for the remainder of my stay. The room was great. We liked the sound proofing of the traffic noise, Your Restaurant Staff were very friendly and also your Bar Staff made us feel very relaxed & comfortable, Thank You Kev & Jude Queensland. Our visit was primarily related to a Conference held at a nearby Venue. Bayview of the Park was suitably located to participate in the Conference and enjoy the amenities of the location. The door frames needed to be painted. There were no hotel slippers which I believe are inexpensive and as I was staying 3 nights I would have liked some slippers - one pair would have been fine for the 3 nights. A minor point - as the room was totally sealed we needed to have the A/C running just to have some air circulation during the night. It's looking a bit tired, but of they renovate I probably wont be able to afford to stay there any more! Buffet breakfast very ordinary. Gym could do with a wee upgrade. &Quot;Heated" pool felt a bit chilly. 1.No soap in the vanity dispenser 2. no Austar / movie guide 3. no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom. Peeling wallpaper on one wall. Gym was quite small. A bit too far from the city centre. Expensive wifi. Nothing. All good. Trying to find your address with the gps it tell's you to arrive at your address and you find out your on the wrong side. The fact that it was a little tired and needed to be 'made' new again. The toilet flush was extremely old, (funny actually) Bits of marble were breaking off in Bathroom. TV was a little old. Hopefully you are refurbishing. Should have complimentary use of Internet. All very satisfactory. They charge for the parking slot. The food at the hotel was expensive, and there was nowhere close by to get breakfast. Nothing really,. There was nothing I didnt like. Broken lift And delays. Carpet in room looked patchy with the differentt coloured square of carpet on entering the bathroom, toilet paper holder often fell apart and passage ways looking shabby. Lighting could be better. It's getting a bit tired, especially the bathrooms, but still very good overall. Can't think of anything!. small flat screen tv. There was a frequent noise outside our room which sounded as though someone was knocking on our door. As we were only there 1 night, I didn't see the point in raising it with the hotel. TV did not work properly. Could not use remote control on last day. Could not open windows for fresh air. Hotel looking a little dated with some noticable wear and tear. Airport transfers a bit more costly and time consuming as further out of city. Not being able to open a window for fresh air!. The pillows were not comfortable and my husband thought that the room smelled of cigarettes - possibly was once a smoking room. where the carpark was situated and no one told you how to get there and that we were not told which floor our room was on by the night staff when we booked in. Staff in the resturant were not helpful. With a half empty resturant we were asked to wait to be seated by the waitor. We waited for 5 minutes and were not attended to so decided to go somewhere else. Nothing.
