Staff were very friendly. All children under 12 free using existing bedding, suitable for family with young kids on a budget but wanted to have a proper accommodation. They mistakenly charged credit card upon booking (supposed to charge upon arrival) and were a bit slow in responding to complaints but we suspected they upgraded our room and waived the parking fee. The hotel is located just out of the CBD in a leafy location yet still within very easy reach of everything. Staff were very helpful, one of the receptionists very quickly provided us with accurate and detailed directions to our onward location, avoiding all toll roads. Another very quickly and efficiently resolved a minor air conditioning issue.

Perfect location, tram stop across the way, Prahran market within walking distance or tram. Restaurant was surprisingly good. Location was good, staff were excellent and very helpful when I needed to extend my stay several times. The purpose of my trip was really not business or leisure but I found the hotel to be a very convenient base whilst a family member was at the Alfred hospital. Clean tidy room, nice big clean bathroom, walk-in shower. Frequent trams outside. Room came with cutlery, plates and I think a microwave too. For $100 a night it was pretty good. Friendly staff. 12th floor, totally silent, slept like a log!. Comfortable rooms but the double bed is too small to share should I return with my wife. The rooms have basic cooking facilities including a toaster. There is a clothes washing machine and dryer so it is a good hotel for an extended stay. The facilities and amenities provided were great, staff were friendly and the rooms ( we had to be relocated due to a fault in the fire alarm for that room) were very cosy, comfy and welcoming. Would happily use Seasons Heritage again. Staff were helpful and the location was excellent for tram access to the City or St.Kilda,and walking around the Albert Park. The room facilities enabled self-catering and there were also cafe options nearby,as well as a store and atm. The twin room apartment set up so we could have time out from the children. Reserved the room online with Amex and they charged 2% which I don't recall being made aware of when booking?. Car parking is clumsy due to need to use a vehicle lift system. It took about 20 minutes to negotiate , both on entry and exit. It is slower if there is another car using the lift at the time when you need it. The only critique would be the noise volume that is heard from outside. Being in the city is obviously busy and compared to some other hotels where we never hear outside noise, we heard everything. Apart from that we were very happy for one night Oh, and that carpark nearly trapped us in, it's shockingly small and was full when we went up the lift, we didn't think we were going to be able to pivot turn around to get back into the exit lift! Very frustrating. I needed an airport shuttle on the Sunday evening . Staff agreed to arrange this when I checked out am, but then failed to let me know it was not running; I only found this out when I returned pm to take the shuttle to connect with my long haul flight. The wash cloth and tea towel were a waste of time, we went and brought our own, we like to keep the kitchen and things we use in it clean. Pillows were too flat, didn't give the impression of a special stay away. Carpet wasn't clean. Roll away bed cost too high, thankfully we could book a second room for our 3 and 6 year old children. Had a two bedroom suite which was 2 separate units with a wee entrance way. This was fine but there was no way to hold the doors open between the units. Wedges would have helped keep doors open. Pillows are very hard. Couldn't work out how to watch TV (even after following all the instructions in a leaflet provided in the room). Could have been closer to a supermarket, but this wasn't a really big deal. If you have a car it is fine. If it was a must to pick it would only be the coffee in the room. The heaters where very ineffective and blew out cool air even at the highest temps and could not turn fan off. Staff provided me with oil heaters which were effective but I think the fixed heater appliances need sorting. Random replacement of bathroom toiletries and flannels and kitchen items. not quite enough tea and milk for our stay. Lack of luggage storage space. Air-conditioner/heater wasn't working but was promptly repaired. Paying for wifi and things didn't work, TV kept failing for three days, safe didn't work, needed repairing, fire alarm had flat batteries and most importantly the fire alarm was covered with a plastic bag. Kitchen facilities could be upgraded, including larger cups and sufficient detergent to wash dishes!!. Prices of breakfast and meals a little bit high. Did not have a DVD player. The patio window needed cleaning was about all I could fault. Cleaning is not up to scatch. Room was a little small and could not accomodate for 2 sinlge beds or anything larger than a double bed. The hotel is pricey. I didn't like that the balcony didn't have a table or chairs and that the lounge room had 4 single chairs instead of a couch. We wanted room service for breakfast and we were disappointed that they didn't have all the ingredients on the menu. DVD player would be handy. Not much to dislike. There was a restaurant/bar area with limited opening hours so went elsewhere for food and drink. The reception counter was like a cliff face. Rooms could do to be more clearly signed. Small tv, very uncomfortable bed, smelly room, one of the staff members at check-in was very rude didn't even apologise of his error. Were missing some crockery and there was a dirty spoon left. It says kitchenette but our room only had a microwave and fridge there was no cooktop. I liked everything. Housekeeping did not make our bed even though they changed the towels in the bathroom. The water from the shower went everywhere because there wasn't a big enough screen, and the shower head didn't adjust to the correct height. But these were only minor issues. A little disapointed that when I turned down my bed I found hair in between the sheets, so it appeared the bed had not been changed. One hair I could of understood but there was numerous. Seeing that it was late at night I chose not to ring reception and slept under the duvet rather then the sheets. The location is not so close to city, takes about 20mins to get to CBD by tram. The heater which had issues and was fixed temporarily by the helpful receptionist. Front foyer was very tired - it was in desperate need of redecorating. The entrance did not look inviting at all. Breakfast left a little to be desired even after the 2nd try it was not right sausages were left out.

At Citro Heritage we offer an eclectic blend of Asian inspired and Australian classic dishes prepared with the freshest of produce that changes with every season. Citro Heritage is located on the ground floor and is open daily for breakfast from 6:30am to 10:30am and a la carte dinner service every night from 6pm to 9:30pm. Lunch service is available weekdays from 12pm to 2:30pm.

Seasons Heritage Melbourne is conveniently located opposite the Belgian Beer Garden and just a short tram ride to the city (tram 3, 5, 6, 16, 64 and 67) or for a taste of inner surburbia, take the tram in the opposite direction to East Malvern, Malvern, Glen Iris, Kew via St Kilda Beach, East Brighton or Carnegie.
