We had a fantastic stay at the St Kilda Quest. We loved the fact that the Apartments are so close to the all forms of public transport yet still close enough to walk to the beach, restaurants, cafes, parks, pubs and supermarkets. When we had had enough sightseeing we would wander back to the apartment and just chill in the relaxing environment. We would certainly recommend St Kilda Quest as a great place to stay and real value for money. Thank you St Kilda Quest.

Well-equipped and spotless apartment with excellent facilities. Convenient location for trams and transport hubs. Helpful and obliging staff. A most successful and enjoyable stay, apart from indefensible charges for wifi and parking. The spacious layout. The full workable kitchen, every utensil that u could possibly need, the washer & dryer. We stayed 5 nights & we were very comfortable. Location was great easy access to the city on the tram. Close to St Kildas Ackland street for shopping& restaurants, & a short tram ride to the beach. location to the alfred hospital where my wife required treatment. easy tram access. nice cafes and restruants close by. lovely parks close by, sea close by,. The whole 2 days I stayed were great. Staff friendly and very helpful. They took care and helped with all my needs A.S.A.P. would stay again and recommend. Loved the size of the apartment, also having a washing machine was great. Bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows! Staff at front desk were friendly. We found the apartment to be well located and close to a lot of restaurants and public transport. We didn't use our car the whole time we were there. Value for money. Great location in St Kilda. That as well as coffee they had hot chocolate satchels :-). The proximity to where we needed to be. Fairly clean and spacious. Having secure parking. the space in the apartment, the full kitchen although we didn't use it would be great for longer stays. The cleanness of the apartment. Room size and space. The high step into the bath. Really disappointed that Quest lets itself down with high charges for wifi and parking. This is really not acceptable in 2013 when many similar facilities provide these free as standard. Do negotiate these rates as, to their credit, staff are flexible on giving reductions. The view! We were in room 25. It was also a long tram ride to federation square where we needed to be. Only minor niggles though. It was great. Found it hard to find how to get to reception when first got in car park. It took me a while to find the lift, and as I had not registered in yet had to wait for someone to come down to car park to let me up. A tad hard to get into the shower as it was in the spa bath, so tricky to climb over the edge . Could do with a few more kitchen knives, forks & also lids to go with the pots & frypan. Unlike Davina - Melton Australia We found the bed very comfortable, even the the base was two singles with a king mattress on top. What we didn't like was the very deep spa bath, that wasn't allowed to be used as a spa. We found it quite dangerous to get in & out of. The owners should remove them & replace with normal baths. I am sure they would be able to sell the spas to a company who could package them up as a stand alone spa for home use. The room required some minor maintenance. Broken chair, rip in balcony screen door. Bed was lumpy. No tv in the bedroom which wouldve been a bonus to add to the comfort of a holiday and the massive step into the shower.its actually really dangerous especially when your wet, trying not to slip whilst holding on to something and climbing out. 2 single beds pushed together is not very nice as mattresses were sagging, my husband and I both woke up with extremly sore backs. Kitchen could have been better equipped....only one large bowl for food preparartion. Was not informed of $200 bond.Sofa(beds)very uncomfortable for sitting. Small amount of mould in shower. Thought the apartments could be more secure like a bolt on the balcony door and the bedroom window .. I didn't feel that safe in that area . The sofa was not very comfortable and there was no full length mirror in the bedroom . It's quite a young crowd that we saw staying there - I could imagine it gets a bit loud some nights but not that we noticed. Eco shower head gave very poor pressure. Electric stove settings had completely faded and it was impossible to read - a fire hazard. I don't like the way a 100 deposi was taken when I arrived to be refunded a week later. This just means you can use the money to invest or whatever. It should have been refunded immediately onto my credit card not take 7 working days Considering I had arrived and paid. Kitchen needs updating. Base of shower had a large crack in it that had just been patched over, and furniture well worn but apart from that the unit was in good. The entry light outside our unit was never on. The lounge was uncomfortable. N/A. Our double bed was two singles put together and uneven. A little bit uncomfortable. Bath/shower - it was dangerous climbing out of the shower/bath when wet. It was a bit expensive. The carpet made my socks dirty. Maybe putting a bigger sign in front of the building to find the apartment easier. Didn't get our bath towels replaced. The jackhammer noise each time the toilet flushed, and the iron which leaks water all over your clothes. Quality of furniture Main bedroom no air con but twin room with air. This made it uncomfortable due to temperature being high during stay. the Sound proofing of the hotel room is poor. the hot water is not enough for spa in the bathroom. No heat in the kids bedroom. The area seemed dodgey, but once you went a block away from the hotel it was a nice neighborhood, getting in and out of the parking garage was annoying. The place was a bit run down and dated. Some things e.g. TV remote control were broken. We couldn't use the spa and were not advised of this online at the time of booking. The sauna was very small. Wish there was a larger, more comfortable couch. Balcony with nothing to look at. Staff did not advise us of airport shuttle service even when we asked about the time and expense of a taxi.We caught a tram around the block and after waiting 45min we found that the shuttle went right past the hotel we were at an hour before. I requested early check-in; that seemed to be ignored until I enquired about it when we arrived. After a wait I was told I could check in to a lesser apartment for the same price however guests checking in later in the day would be upgraded to our apartment. I chose to wait! Amazingly our allocated apartment was ready almost instantly!. I didn't like the fact that while making trips to the car to load our belongings and before we handed in our keys, their staff had taken it upon themselves to enter our room and had some of our belongings in his hand!!! When I complained there was barely an apology, just excuses because the cleaner had got to reception before I did. I thought it was disgraceful and would never stay there again!!!! (This happened before the check out time!). There was no electric blankets. We came from Cairns and the weather was vastly different. Also the split system air.con. didn't work very well. The internet connection through Azure is a rip off. There was a spa in the bathroom but due to water restrictions it could not be used. To have a shower one had to climb in and out over the high spa wall without appropriate access steps. Very dangerous for elderly people. Ran out of hot water Coffee was not well stocked. Noisy walkways and slamming doors at early hours. Plus having to pay for parking not included in the tariff. The motor that went all night and reverberated through the bedroom wall and bathroom -possibly some type of fan system. Kept me awake every night with noise and vibration from the wall. Not good. We didn't realise that St Kilda was the pub hub and after 9pm became slightly more dangerous with young children with many drunken louts and fights occurring. The apartment was very dated and it surprise me that there was only 1 bathroom. The room looked tired and needed a renovation. In the appartment the furniture was quite dirty and stained. When I took a blanket out of the cupboard for my daughter it had dried blood spots on it which is disgusting. Everything should be checked thoroughly before new guests arrive. The mould on the shower screen. Getting to the reception to book in. Position, no booking on arrival in system, Ugly building. Parking. Not as it appears on advertising.
