The service and assistance at the location was fantastic and staff were very friendly. The car space in the building is also very convenient. The apartment was very clean and comfortable to stay in. Great location, met at the unit by a really nice bloke who showed us to the room and explained who we can get around Melbourne easily. Happy to recommend to other. (We had 2 adults and 3 kids).
all reviews » Ben (the owner) was very helpful and always prompt. Location is great. Very comfortable studio apartment with Kitchen, Washer, Dryer, and wii-fi. I'd stay there again. The apartment was well situated and had everything required walking distance to shops, restaurants and convention center. public transport at he door. Locality,ideal for shopping and sporting events. Close to railway station. Clean and neat accommodation. Good Security. WiFi an added bonus. The kitchenette with pans and crockery The free WiFi The options for Bedding, didn't even use the reverse air con at all Laundry facilities. Convenience to everything, comfort, bed was really comfortable, appliances for preparing own meals. The staff were outstanding and attentive and helpful. Wonderful to deal with, thank you!. Location was about all it had going for it. Trams, Trains right outside. If the room, bathroom & kitchen had been cleaner it would have been perfect and did not think PULL AROUND WALLS were a separate bedroom as asked for!. Great location. Bedroom good size. We are from a similar industry in New Zealand and know we would never present or worse accept payment for an apartment in this condition. I feel strongly that a substantial refund of money paid is due to be refunded. The only thing I liked was getting my money back. The shower head needs to be changed was difficult to shower with a small water head. Cant go past the train noise. however after the first night, didnt really hear it. So weighing up the location, price etc - i say toughen up the place is great!. The noise of the trains. My wife found the bed a little soft, suggest a memory foam mattress could fix that.(I have one on my bed at home). In the bedroom one of the windows seems not to be sealed properly and this let the outside (trains) noise in. Found I had to crawl around a bit to plug in bed lamps and fix a slat in the bed. had a bit of trouble with the zapper for the car park. It wouldn't work and we had to wait until someone was going out or in to get out or in!. Cleanliness was not the best - no plug in the kitchen sink, dishes not very clean. Only 3 floors above the 6 line railway which ran right next to the building, so there was the almost constant noise of trains passing. The apartment didn't have milk for making coffee in the morning Need bowls for putting in the snacks. only 1 key between 2 people going in different directions at times. Not being able to access other levels with our key without being with our friends who were on those other levels. Thought we had a balcony but didn't .. If not for run-down carpets and burn residues in all pots marks would be quite good also no receptionist in the building may present problems for some. very noisy. No reception Bit strange getting the keys off someone rather than at a desk. abit dirty and dusty but otherwise fine. could not find an iron or ironing board in the apartment It is beside the train track which is busy but this did not worry us - it might worry light sleepers apartment could do with some maintenance ie fresh paint etc but facilities are good and beds were clean and comfortable. We could not get the hotplates or oven to work but used the microwave so okay for us. Not clean Shower especially No separate bedroom as asked for. Pull around walls not acceptable! Stained carpets The 10 minute wait to be let in. Should at least be able to get off street especially late at night. very noisy from train and tram noise - even on 16th floor. No shelves or hangers in bedroom so lived out of suitcase. Very hard to speak to person who met me as he had limited English - led me through two buildings, up and down levels and couldn't explain where I was going or why. Apartment was not clean (we couldn't shower because of the dirt) and sheets were not ironed (hope they were washed). These apartments have great potential but are let down by poor maintenance and staff. There needs to be accurate descriptions provided to show this is not a serviced anything. The rooms are long term residential apartments and therefore not up to hotel standards in cleanliness or quality. The apartment building had an unpleasant odor due to poor cleanliness and upkeep of corridors. unfortunately the red wine stains on the carpet were off putting. the leg of coffee table broken & bathroom rail broken. looked like last visitors had a wild party . But otherwise generally a great position. and helpful staff thank you !. It had not been cleaned properly. Microwave had splatters, the fridge had liquid in the bottom and I was able to scratch the burnt stuff off the stove with my fingernail. The white tiles in the shower had stained grout (soap scum) and the drain holes in the sinks were mouldy. The noise of the trains kept me awake most of the night and they start up 6am every 5 minutes. I would not stay that close to the rail lines again. Not clean. On arrival you have to ring the guy on his mobile. Waited over half an hour for him to answer. Not a good set up to get keys to get into the room after a 3 hour travel when we had to get into the room and change because we were going to a concert. Dryer didn't work, only one key which meant we either had to all go out together or someone had to be awake to let them in. Air con blew cool air. I didn't like the bed linen weren't ironed. It gives you the feeling they haven't been changed. Dirty sheets on arrival, dirty pillow cases, dirty bathroom, splatters on walls. Mould in bathroom. Filthy shower. Trains are right below and very loud. Thankfully they stop over night. There was no-one to talk to - no reception area, everything was done over the phone. Also they took the money from my mastercard account before the trip without notifying me first. the unit was dirty. The clothes dryer did not work. The hot plates were filthy. The bed linen was all crushed....looked like it had been slept in. The shower was mouldy. Apartment was overpriced especially considering the noise of the nearby trains that prevented us from sleeping beyond 430 am. Kitchen Tap loose, fridge on a lean, bathroom not clean, linen crumpled. The room wasn't clean and also felt very tired. We were not able to sit on the sofa as it offered no support. Beds were OK, but most other furniture was showing it's age, carpet stained, kitchen cupboard doors were dirty from previous occupants, furniture dusty - glass doors very dirty (not the outside ones - the inside ones!). that it was right beside rail lines and trains constent all day and night. the place also could of been cleaner fridge, dishwasher, cupboards, one of the beds looked like someone just got out of it.no tea towel to dry dishes and some of the face flannels and handtowels well worn. Train track outside our bedroom window. Bathroom and windows need a good scrub. Didn't feel clean. Bare minimum in kitchen. Not very clean and appliances a little dated. right above the train line. The NOISE of the trains! Why weren't the bedroom windows double glazed?. Railway line feels like trains are coming through apartment.Did not show on maps or mention. 1) Room not ready when we arrived at 5:30pm - we had to wait downstairs at street level. 2) Carpet filthy. Not as clean as the other apartments we stayed in. Reception closed at 5pm, but we were not told about it. Had a hard time checking in. Washing machine broken Blinds broken Carpets disgusting Bathrooms disgusting Dirty pots and pans in cupboards Filthy windows Kitchen filthy Misrepresented in advertising, no mention that the apartment was sitting on top of a railway line, sleep is close on impossible with the noise levels. It was filthy. The walls and furniture were wet. The bedding was disgusting. The one bedroom is a studio with blinds around bed. The floor is filthy. Dirty dishcloth on bench. Smelt. And fridge looked broken and old. The only thing that was good was getting my money back five minutes after being shown the room.
