location to trams/ easy to travel to main attractions/ close to train stations/ comfortable large room/ The staff were outstanding! Counter staff were warm and friendly and catered to my every request..nothing was too much trouble for them. Holiday Inn should be very proud of their staff. The diningroom staff were the same. I felt very at home there. I'll certainly be staying there for all future trips to Melbourne...I travel to Melbourne for work and always add 3 or 4 days extra for a short.

Can't nor not possible are just not part of their vocalabury. The sirocco restaurant is also excellent . Have eaten all arou d the city we found the most pleasant on our door . Breakfast excellent . Oh st Kilda tram to beach outside door too !! Perfect spot. Fiona collier. The service was very good. I was greeted straight away and although I was very early to check-in, I was still able to check in way before the check-in time. The people were extremely friendly and were extremely helpful with everything I asked of them (luggage storage, taxi services and early check-in/late check-out) would recommend to everyone staying in Melbourne and would stay again. Location to Spencer Street Station and the city. The hotel offers good facilities which include a pool and a restaurant with quality tapas and light meals. The staff were most helpful, friendly and obliging to all requests. I don't think that you could get a better hotel in the city which is good value for money for a Melbourne holiday experience. Comfortable / Cosy are missing from the options above. We thought the service was great. The shower was awesome - so often now, with water restrictions the showers are very ordinary. The location was good for us. We love Melbourne and have stayed in a lot of different motels - this was the first time at Holiday Inn and we would recommend it. This was not the first time my sister and I have stayed would recommend to everyone. Close to everything tram and train close buy. Breakfast was great so much to choose from nice and fresh . beds were great we stayed on the third floor facing spencer street thought would hear noise but none. would stay again. We liked that the staff greeted you every time you entered or left the hotel. The service provided when checking in, and checking out of the hotel was superb. The staff at Siroccos were very welcoming and friendly.You were made to feel very welcome, and it was great value for money. The location of Holiday Inn on Flinders was wonderful, extremely close to all transport, shopping, cafes etc Staff were very helpful, showing us the best places for shopping and cafes and explaining the best way to get their. We had a great time and would gladly return. Location is perfect if arriving by train. Restruant both in room and dining were both excellent . The hotel had an arrangement with the closest Wilsons parking which has a 1.8 metre height restriction. I had to use valet parking at another hotel which was more expensive. The rooms were slightly small. Free Wifi is not available in the room. Unable to drink at bar at 11.00pm Sunday, to be told later that drinks could be served in room (no mini bar) Parking costs a bit steep. dthe bed closest to the window was a little shaky, it moved whenever I would roll over, other than that all ok. It rained when i did not need it. The bathroom looking dated and a bit tired. only one thing was cleaning staff knocked on the door before 10.00 am and I was in bathroom so couldn't get to the door before she opened it and came in. Reception should advise cleaners when room is vacant to avoid this problem check out was 11.00 am. niets. Rooms due for a refurbishment. Shower over the bath - but hey I have that at home - thats why It is a luxury when I can use a normal shower ha. Was alittle pricey for a twin room,. All good. The hotel is too expensive. The wifi should be free also in the rooms. Shower needs updating, eg tiles. The only thing I can say is perhaps the bathrooms could do with upgrading, but otherwise everything was fine. Totally non smoking. Even in uk we have smoking hotel rooms - you just have to find them. Being unfamiliar with Melbourne found it a little far to walk to the main shopping area. They charge on everything internet access, telephone usage and if you pay by credit card, you will be charged an additional fee. The internet access fee is very high $22 dollar only for 24h limited 1G data.
