  The Victoria Can Tho is one of the more beautiful hotels we have stayed in and we do always stay in top 5 star hotels. The staff are the most welcoming, friendly and helpful that we have experienced and always with a smile on their faces. The hotel itself is spotless with spacious and luxurious rooms. I have enjoyed many stays while on business in Cantho for over 10 years now, and I continue to be both greatly pleased and relaxed by every visit.

  We arrived to the most enthusiastic welcome from the bubbly girl on reception who informed us we had been upgraded. We had the vip3 room on the 8th floor which had the most gorgeous rooftop balcony with an outdoor spa/shower, fishpond, plants. Our tour guide Johnny was very informative, friendly and had excellent English. We loved our stay at Kim Lan, and would recommend - Really nice choice for your stay in can tho!!! We booked a standard room (no window) but got one with a window anyway! Can totally recommend the mekong/floating market-Tour offered from the hotel! The 40$ may look a bit overpriced in the beginning, but you get your own boat, food and drinks included and our personal tourguide explained us everything in perfect english!!!   From the minute you get out of the taxi and see a small sign saying Nguyen Shack , you realise you have left the tourist area behind and arrived in the real Mekong Delta. I dont normally bother reviewing places but for my husband and I it really was a highlight in our 3 weeks in Vietnam.   Bungalow rooms are lovely. Staff are fabulous. Breakfast a bit boring but in saying that the hotel is so cheap there is no reason to complain. - Those who wants to enjoyed a regular hotel best is to be in downtown but if you like to stay local with comfort enjoy this stay !!!

  The staff was really nice every time we saw them and very accommodating. We arrived late (9 or 10pm) and they told us about a floating market tour they offer, which sounded great to us but our only option was the next day at 5am. They said that was not a problem despite the late notice. We had a nice tour and it was great value for the cost, espec... what people say » ially with included breakfast!
