  I had no idea what to expect from Emeralda but I have to say that as soon as the door to our taxi opened we were welcomed and treated like royalty. The staff were all so happy and always, always smiling. Our suite was absolutely superb with a view of the mountains and privacy that I had not expected from a Resort that was so large. You would nev... what people say » er know how many guests were ever actually staying there as each Enclave had about 4-6 suites with a central pool so There was no need to actually go - Everything! The location was absolutely gorgeous, with spacious room and excellent view. The staff, especially the front office manager were all truly helpful. Every single staff made our stay immensely enjoyable.

  An awesome location that has no other rival. We were blown away by the scenery and the staff was great (please be advised that they don't really speak English and will hold your passports until you leave- a common practice in Vietnamese hotels). They served an awesomely simple breakfast of fried eggs, baguettes and coffe that assuaged any worries ... what people say » we had. This place is awesome. If you want to visit Ninh Binh, you should stay here. It may be eerie on your walks in the moonlight when you are alone - Very quiet location in the town on the river and rice paddys super nice people and interesting buildings.
