I loved everything. The welcoming fire as you came in, really comfy beds, tea and coffee making facilities. Everything we needed. I really like the staff. They're very helpful and it feels like home.The location of the hotel is not far from city center and there are many bus driven all day and night. And, the hotel staffs are helpful. Hotel was close to where I needed to be. It was a quiet hotel but near plenty of facitilities such as restaurants.

In dire need of updating. Carpet in bathroom! . Although it was fine for a single twenty-something male like myself, I probably would look for somewhere a bit more tidier if I had a young family or were older. The room was very reminiscent of student accomodation. But it's really not as bad as all the other reviewers suggest.Very Muslim. No TV in room. Bathroom is in great need of an upgrade, breakfast room also a bit dingy. Our room was very cold but we raised that with reception and we were given an electric radiator straight away that solved the problem. I think the main disatvantage of this particular hotel, that was mention on the website, was the lack of tv.a bit run down . Toilet had not been cleaned and dirty towel in room. the rooms need a good overhaul very basic. bathroom overlooking hotel entrance? proberbly could do with a good damp proof course. breakfast times are very short. Three out of four of our rooms were very cold all night, and all the bathrooms were too cold. Even in a budget hotel I'd expect basic levels of comfort.We were rather surprised by the poor state of the bathroom, especially the carpet; also the plumbing was extremely noisy. We did not enjoy the breakfast. Breakfast was taken in a very cold basement. The 'high tech' showerproduced a disappointing trickle of water.A little Old Fashioned. No TV in the room or meat for breakfast, and it is partly a building site but at least they were honest about this at the time of booking. However, the decor is awful, it is dingy. There was mould in the bathroom, the plug had snapped off the chain. The bed was too hard. The choice for breakfast was poor: the only jam was strawberry, there were just two different cereals.The bathroom left a lot to be desired. needs good simple refurniture, particularly bath rooms. some rooms the central heating not working.No heating. No tv. No restaurant. Noisy. heating was not on, sheets were not clean.dirty and old rooms and beds, poor breakfast. Whilst the staff made every effort to be as helpful as possible, the hotel was very scruffy and tatty, there were major building works and scaffolding around much of the outside and overall it was dingy. Breakfast offered was disappointing.everything else. the room was dirty, the sheets were dirty, the walls were paper thin so a good nights sleep was not on the cards. The general standard of cleanliness and decoration was very poor. The Reception The Reception staff was very helpful, but the breakfast room was very cold.worst bed and breakfast/hotel we have ever used in 30 years! room decor was awful and in parts very dirty. the breakfast room door, the staff delivering food touched, was seriously unclean, ie old dirt and greasey marks. Breafast was simply awful too, little choice. end of breakfast at 9.00 on sunday was far too early. it was damp dirty and badly in need of refurbishment. The breakfast was discusting, the condiments were out of date and the place was rotten filthy and not up to scratch. Hotel is in urgent need of refurbishment/modernisation. Everything. The hotel was very dirty , the service was very poor. The bedding was dirty and had burned sheets. The breakfast was very poor and non hygenic. the staff were not welcoming.
