Staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. We were going etihad and they provided us with maps, bus numbers, taxi numbers etc. Hotel wasn't very handy though for etihad sure must be places closer? Hotel handy to get into piccadilly though. Bed really comfy and warm, room nicely decorated, looks like they have had a re-furb towels, bedding, furniture etc all seemed new. For the price we paid it was excellent value and breakfast was also enough choice and quality good.
all reviews » The staff were very friendly especially the front desk manager (Riz) who gave us many useful advise. Both of my son and I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. The room was cleaned daily with new fresh set of bath and face towers changed/supplied daily. Breakfast was good and nothing to dislike about. The hotel is very accessible and very near to many restaurants and provisional shops. Public transports is easily available and idea for university visit. We had a great stay at the hotel. Staff welcoming and helpful. I thought the hotel would be noisy given its location but was quiet. Ideal for university visits, or for general visit to Manchester, as is less than 5 mins walk to a major bus route that goes right into the city. Good choice of hot food or cereal for breakfast. Parking available. Good value. In pictures it looks like a fair hotel.... Noise on the saturday night we stayed there. Loud talking and banging throughout the night, walls quite thin but if u preapre yourself with earplugs as I did I still ad a pleasant sleep. Few things still need adding to room - table lamp, bin in bathroom, coat hook maybe in bathroom. The hotel was a bit noisy at night but it was not a problem for us. I think a few more cloth hangers available in the room will be great. The decor was generally a bit tired. a bit noisy in the evening. nothing. Cant think of anything . the breakfast. Shower was a bit fussy. It was a bit like student accommodation. Shower in the room was more of a dribble. noisy area, bed was too low for me. None. Vertical blind missing slats. shower was a bit tricky but I managed to sus out that by turning the temp control one nouch at a time the water wouldn't cut off. Not enough bed-clothes on first night - when asked, they provided enough for second night. Room was cold, smelt musty,Rouch traps under a table, Had to ask for coffee tea and milk sachets Glad it was only one night. Very noisy during the night, very cold room, scratchy towels. But in the real life: is a bad hostel, which don't deserved 3*** Location Indian/Arabic area of Manchester Everything is cheap and old Smelly room, not enough clean, windows which doesn't close properly, noisy floors, noisy bed, improvised bathroom... And in the morning the worst breakfast...
