very good, quite clean, nice reception, quiete and good location. Staff were very helpful, allowed me to check in early, even offering breakfast upon my arrival!. Very quiet in the night. Good beds and CLEAN! . The hotel is in a good location for ease of transit, access to Hyde Park, access to nice neighborhoods, restaurants, etc.Very close to central London, but low price - just what I needed. The continental breakfast was more than you could eat!.

It was in the middle of London. The central position. location. we booked the triple room, there are 1 double bed and 2 other single beds, also the shower room is big enough for us. Good location near underground station and Hyde-park. Shop facilities nearby. Breakfest should include baked beans and fried eggs plus potatostuff. To small but acceptable with milk,cornflakes,tea/coffee and toast. Hotel price 20% less just over the street where I usually stay(former Park Lodge Hotel),also refurbished totally but also a fully brekfeast! Bad TV-connection, a lot of very annoying digital disturbance on program signals or total breakdown! . My room did not have a fan, whereas my friend's room did. Room was hot on warm days. Room was small, bathroom was tight. Hotel claimed credit card machine was down, so asked for cash and offered a small discount on the price.It could do with a bit more maintenance/decoration, but it was good for the price. Reviews that criticise the standard of this hotel should not do so without reference to the low rates available from Booking.com. You get what you pay for!. I was on the 4th floor and there's no lift - not great when arriving and leaving with luggage. The TV didn't work, the shower-head was covered in limescale but, for this price and for 2 nights only, it wasn't a bigproblem. I wished they renovates their bathrooms. Remove carpets. Poor breakfast.the telly in the room had lines through the picture and did not have a remote control, we had to stand on a chair to change the stations. There was not elevator, and we had to walk every day to the 4th floor. Very simple furniture, should be changed.the balcony wasn't swept of previous users cigarette butts , and there was no healthy option for breakfast. the shower and toilette room has no enough curtain. there was one mouse appears during the night.Dirty bathroom, plugged sink, but it is and old house, so... One night there was some animal (mouse?) in the room. Also i didnt't felt secure at night in the hotel room. We booked a twin room and due to "problems" a second bed was put into a single room. There was space for one person at a time to move between the beds. The extra bed had a shelf 40cm above the bed. Even at the single room price or the discounted price I purchased the twin room for I was extremely disappointed at the condition of the hotel. The croissants provided with breakfast were stale. Although I booked the hotel with credit card, they asked me to pay cash once I was there claiming that their credit card system had a problem. the bathroom was separated from the room, the last floor, without lift, dirty curtains and carpets. The room and the beds were very dirty. No air conditioning. TV was very bad. No cable, no remote control. The room was small but ok for the price. On the other hand the bathroom was smaller than me. Not clean, a cockroach appeared in the bathroom...and it got too hot at night, and not really good soundproof facilities.The smell of curry and the attitude of the staff. Receptionist was pleasant but the management spoke in their own language in our presence. We felt uncomfortable. On arrival I was asked for a cash payment for my room, but had been led to believe that my Visa was ok for payment on the website and had secured the room this way. The manager was persistant on this point saying the swipe machine was broken, I was unconvinced and argued to pay with my credit card which I finally was able to use on my checkout with a different manager. My Visa was ok everywhere el. Did not accept cards. Had to go out and find cash!!. no hot water - extremely below average guest rooms, unclean.
