first warm welcome,and than all the facility inc food ................... The service was excellent and my stay was excellent.Just came back from this hotel .Found it was a good location however this time of year alot of the street we were on was closed but Id expect in the summer it is much better .I found the staff very friendly and helpful .They couldnt do enough for us .The room was very clean .Most of the hotels Blackpool are old fashioned so expect with any hotel that it is going to be like this .I loved it there. all reviews »
Even though they had only recently taken over and were still getting the grasp of things, they were very friendly and helpful.the staff were friendly, and helpful the food was brilliant and we completely enjoyed our stay. friendly staff especially carol, which her service was exceptionally helpful. The self service breakfast was well worth the money. on the whole Brillant value for the money. Would definatly stay again in the future. Thanks for a good stay. we was made very welcome and would consider returning to the hotel. very enjoyable too. Personal Service and excellent breakfast at a very good price. staff were very helpfull and very friendly. staff friendly and helpfull. In January there are few guests so breakfast was personal to us; we say exactly what we wanted and that is what we got. They even offered to cook us extra if we wanted more. Electric heater as well as central heating in the room and friendly, helpful staff. Carol was amazing!. Bed was comfy and the staff were friendly. the breakfast was good but not highly organised. The breackfast was good, you had a selection to choose from.easy access to the main attractions and the parking was a great bonus. buffet style breakfast and mostly friendly/welcoming staff. near to pleasure beach, had nice room overlooking the sea. close to the pleasure beach. The staff were friendly. breakfast was nice-although running out of bacon didnt go down too well with some diners. The staff were friendly. The staff were ok.Breakfast ok ,. Nothing. Actually nothing..but at least the manager was cordial enough!. was close to pleasure beach. Parking and location. we could go out. checking out. i think my room is to small , because we are use too with large room , but nothing else .The only problem that we found was the bathroom was on the small side. only the fact that the cook insisted on argueing with the very nice lady on reception who was running the hotel alone. headboard not attached to beds or walls. Sometimes front desk not manned and we had to wait to get in as we hadn't been given door code and even if we had it was bolted. However this was probably because by then we were only people staying there and security would be paramount.Broken window handles and no bath, bedding wasn't cleaned daily. Pillows were a bit on the small side. Breakfast was served for only an hour. People were pushing a shoving to get to all the food and if you came down later than 9.15 there wasnt any tables at 9.30 there was no breakfast left. Would only recommend this hotel for the price. If you want to cut the cost of the break this is a good hotel.the decor looked unclean and dated. No vanity mirror. Very old and dated. the food was really bad. Needed some repair, but for what we payed it was ok. The room was a little bit dirty but then again the price was cheap. The tv wasn't tuned in properly, the window was broke so there was a draft in the room at night. didnt think the room was very nice only had 1 pilow each aswell. the lady working for the hotel was abit in your face.not being allowed to take food into the room. there was hair in the bathroom when we arrived in our room, taps were broken, earwigs in the bathroom, damp, fusty like smell on arrival, dirty bed sheets and carpets. The cleanliness of the room, especially the bed. Also the cutlery was dirty and the breakfast was 1/10. bed springs in my back each night and poor decor and in one full week no cleaner in or new towels.The carpet throughout the hotel was disgusting with stains, as were the chairs in the 'bar'. The bar had limited choice in drinks, the spirits were foreign brand and i ordered a pint of larger which was cloudy and flat. The bed was tiny and extremely uncomfortable, the light in the bathroom did not work, and the ceiling was beginning to fall apart. It wasn't very clean, and the milk we had been given for our tea andcoffee was actually cheese.Very dirty and smelly hotel !! bathroom was filthy ,beds tiny anduncomfy!!,carpets grotty,!!,in need of a revamp A.S.A.p,staff were dirty,would not recomend at all. Double booked. Actually, I thought I had got a bargain price (the web site mentioned "50 % 0ff" ) but actually this hotel is absolutely shoddy ! I recommend your firm spends only 10 minutes inside it to really understand how shoddy and shambolic it is. My hunt for a bargain price indeed was a disaster!. faulty towers is a good name for this hotel.but if you pay for the ritz u get the ritz.i would never recommend this hotel to anyone.it is the most offencive place i have ever stayed in.Room was dirty. the filth. the staff didnt have a clue on what they was doing, they could not find our booking and we had to stand in reception for over an hour until they agreed they had lost our details, £24 for 4 southern comforts (which were warm). the hotel was dirty not what we expected booked for 2 nights did not stay it was so bad a fire trap as well dirty washing all over floor. When we arrived our room was not ready we waited 2 hours to get into our room. The hotel was nothing like the pictures it was dirty and the staff were all stood around you as if you couldnt say anything it was a horrible atmosphere and i would never recommend anyone to stay there again the entertainment was poor and everyone in the hotel were appauled by the whole stay.
