Rooms - everything was perfect. food, location, staff, cleaning. Staff is very kind and friendly. Nearly every night there is a social event like wine tasting and free tapas. They arrange many facilities like snorkelling (must try) and island tours. Also they put flowers every part of hotel and really smells good :). Rooms are really big and over quality. There are only 50 rooms in this hotel so that it is not crowded and quality oriented. Loved here.

I hope I am lucky enough to return to this haven of peace someday, as this is truly a unique and perfect spot - We stayed 2 night in Pimalai at the end of 4 weeks honeymoon trip. the hotel is located right on the beach spreading further towards the hill. the beach is quite nice but depend on the tide state. we really liked the room which was really comfortable, the breakfast (they have macaroons.. :), the shed in front of the beach. The service is nice, both pools are incredible. They have nice facilities for free at the beach. "why not" bar is great.

  My girlfriend and I stayed here for three nights on our second visit to Ko Lanta within three week. I just wished we'd of found this place the first time. The location was brilliant for us, far enough from the road so there's no noise but in walking distance to the beach.   The modern clean design. All rooms have an ocean view. Only 15 rooms. Food is great. Quiet and private. Surrounded by nature. Shona was entertaining and accommodating. - Each room has an amazing view of the ocean, its a great outlook. The building is modern and the staff are extremely friendly. We will definitely stay there again.

  Staff were great, Poppy made the time to talk to us. Loved the quiet bungalows with loads of room. Breakfast was fine. Didn't see the pool but assume that was in nearby hotel. Was steps away from beach. We booked 1 day and stayed for 5 I think in the end. - Location is good, close to Saladan to be convenient but fat enough away to avoid the noise... what people say » . Family run and super friendly with everything, great personalised service. Highly recommended.

  Lanta Mermaid is a first-class boutique hotel. Small and personal with a great breakfast and very clean accommodations. The walk to the beach is just 2 minutes across the (busy) road. We were in a room on both sides of the building. The mountain view room was actually nicer and more quiet. There is not much of an ocean view on the third floor fron... what people say » t side - but lots of street action to watch. - Everything was great at the hotel. I wasn't expecting this kind of place given that it is pretty cheap. The staff was really friendly and made a point remembering my name. Rooms are very clean and quiet, even on the road side - they have good bay windows... For the first time in Thailand I didn't need to use my earplugs at night.

  We stayed 2 times during our travelling in Thailand on KoLanta at Baan Por Jai. The rooms are very very clean, but basic and good travel-destination. So if you have in your mind to stay at a hotel closed to a children-friendly beach (Klong Dao -10 min walk) and also closed to some shops and bakery and restaurants, Baan por Jai could be the right p... what people say » lace for you. The costs are really fair. - Very nice looking guesthouse with good standard and clean rooms. Big plus for the cozy little garden. Good location only a few minutes walk to the beach. You have several restaurants around the corner. A walk to Saladan takes about 15-20 minutes. Very friendly staff, even if they did not speak the best English.

  Loved everything about this resort! Me and my fiancee stayed there for almost a week during low season (end of August) and we highly appreciated the quite and "low key" atmosphere. The staff was super polite, friendly and attentive/observant. The beachfront villas were elegantly furnished and kept high standard. Restaurant area is perfectly placed... what people say » in front of the beach and pool area with great sea view. They also offered free use of bike cycles (and kayaks) which we enjoyed much. Great to be ab - This is a wonderful hotel with very nice and helpful staff! the location (Klong Dao beach) is the best on Ko Lanta. The teritory of the hotel is very beautiful and peaceful, and villas are just fantastic! We were upgraded for free for beachfront villa (low season), so this villa was amazing, very well furnished! WiFi was everywhere for free. We really recommend this hotel!

  Beautiful place, perfect for relaxation, food is amazing ( we think the best we had in Thailand), friendly people working there, tour services to go to see other islands (which we recommend), possibility to rent scoters, they pick you up from the pier and take you to the hotel free of charge when you get there, pool area is beautiful, comfortable ... what people say » and clean rooms, we highly recommend this place. Perfect for young couples, families or for people who just wants to relax and be away of all the nois - Friendly staff, lovely spacious and clean bungalow with sea view. We loved the hammock on our veranda and listen to the waves rolling in. Perfect also with small children. At low tide they can play in the shallows between the rocks at the beach. There is a nice cool swimmingpool and a lovely restaurant, good service and excellent food. We travelled with our 8 month old daughter and just loved this place.
