Villa Alanta is a very nice Bali style villa. Great lay out, fantastic personnel, owner who contacted us during our stay via e-mail to make sure that we were fine. We rented 2 scooters (family with 2 kids of 9/6) to explore the island. If you are looking for real comfort Alanta Villa is a great choice. -

Very new, nice and clean room/bungalow with a good bed. Loved the small terrace with hammock in front of the bungalow. The restaurant, where also breakfast is served, is just next to the sea (at least at high tide). Nice swimming pool. Overall the hotel is just beautiful. This hotel was very good in terms of staff, facilities, cleanliness, comfort, value for money and location, The two elderly ladies who were probably the owners were very courteous and kept track of all the guests personally on a daily basis during our stay. Though the in-house restaurant was closed during our stay we did enjoy a good breakfast every morning, which was included in the tariff. The staff also helped us with information on and booking of local tours and hiring scooters.

Right at the beach. Breakfast was good as well. It's a quiet place. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
This is a big resort, filled with almost exclusively Swedish families who are obviously staying here for awhile. If you hate children, this is not where you want to be. -
