- very spacious and nice room we chose a two-bedroom apartment for my family and it was so worth it - complete equipment for living there, ovens, washers and everything. feel convenient just like your home - close to the BTS chong nonsi station - nice neighborhood, restaurants and bars around that you can walk to. The Spa is very nice, the Spa's stuff very friendly. The gym is fantastic and one of the main reasons why I choose this place over other hotels. The rooms are very nice, well equipped and the room cleaning service is immaculate.

Room is very well cleaned and also the kitchen is nice with all the amenities. It was located near sky train stations which were within easy walking distance. Well maintained facility with excellent staff. I found both the hotel Ascott Sathorn and city Bangkok are family friendly. A lot of attractions around for the tourists. staffs are friendly and helpful. the room is spacious and clean and good. value for money.. Breakfast have not much choiceses . Air-conditioning in the room couldn't handle Hot weather, so it's left my family with an uncomfortable room. All good. Rooms can be cleaner. the front desk it very bad since the first time. My wife arrived before me and they made her wait in the lobby for two hours rather than check her in. She had full ID and my credit card copy with her for teh reservation and confirmed booking but they would not let her into our room until i arrived. internet is complicated, slow even with paid upgrade & impossible for 2 computers ie tablet & PC. Front desk know it's lousy, many complaints, management do nothing, no one cares . No IT help available.

Please be informed that the hotel's swimming pool will be closed and undergoing renovation works from 2 May-5 June 2018. Information about the area

Grand Palace:
Located on Na Phra Lan Road near Pramane Ground, the Grand Palace consists of several buildings with highly decorated architectural details. The palace began in 1782 and has been a popular attraction in Bangkok. The Royal Chapel, Wat Phra Kaeo, houses the Emerald Buddha, the most sacred Buddha image in Thailand. Proper attire is required to enter the Grand Palace.

Siam-Ratchadamri:
One of the largest and busiest shopping districts in Bangkok, it consists of several large departments stores, shopping arcades, cinema theatres, and other smaller shops. Tourists can satisfy all their shopping needs at one go in Siam-Ratchadamri.

The National Museum:
Within walking distance of the Grand Palace, The National Museum is one of the largest and comprehensive museums in Southeast Asia that began at 1782. Over a thousand artefacts ranging from Neolithic times to the present Bangkok period can be found in The National Museum. The National Museum also houses several exquisite buildings of Thai architectural design.

Wat Pho:
One of the Bangkok's oldest and largest temples, Wat Pho is located right next to the Grand Palace on the South side. Built by King Rama I nearly 200 years ago, it houses the gigantic gold-plated Reclining Buddha which measures 46 metres in length and 15 metres in height!

Weekend Market at Chatuchak Park:
Known as Suan Chatuchak, the market is open only on Saturdays and Sundays. Located opposite the Northern Bus Station on Phahonyothin Road, people buy and sell items ranging from exotic fresh fruits, vegetables, handicrafts, dress materials, clothing, shoes and the necessities.
