friendly staff. staff were very friendly and welcoming, the view of the mountains from our room was lovely, breakfast in the garden was great, good location. Very well located in the city centre and close to the station. Staff, breakfast. As a great surprise the hotel staff offerred a free lift to the train station in the hotel car, making it so easy to climb uphill with baby pram. He compensated the ordeal we had climbing down:-).

Hotel Federale was built in the early 1920s and is owned and managed by the Galliker family. Over the years there have been many changes and renovations which have enhanced the hotel's unique charm and character.
