It was a great apartment - nice, traditional decor, very clean, 2 double beds and 2 double sofa beds, nice bathroom. Also the apartment was in a great location, on a fairly main road less than a 10 min walk from the main market square but not right on the square which meant it wasn't too noisy. We were all really pleased with the apartment which was well maintained, nicely decorated and a great place for a group of friends to stay, as the 2 rooms had double doors which lead onto each other. all reviews » Our trip to Poland was made all the more enjoyable by our visit to Krakow and our stay in this apartment. It offers comfort, views and a great location with easy access to the old historic town. The owners were great to deal with - very friendly and approachable and very attentive to our needs. The apartment is extremely clean, comfortable and modern. It contains everything you could possibly ask for. We highly recommend this outstanding accommodation to everyone. We had a wonderful week and found the staff and facilities excellent. The apartments were beautiful and only a short walk from the main square and planty. The apartments were all centered on one corridor accessed by a front door which made it feel very private & safe for us who had traveled as an extrnded family who had taken a number of apartments. They also facilitated a late check out at no charge. Staying in this superb apartment gives a unique perspective of living in this beautiful ancient city. The apartment had great contemporary design fitted with all the necessary appliances in order to make the stay thoroughly comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly, spoke perfect English and were helpful in making my stay the most enjoyable experience. The apartment was beautifully designed and was spotless. There was nothing unavailable in the room- plenty of tea and coffee and even plates pans and knvives and forks. They weren't quite long enough and let a fair amount of light in. Also, if you are planning to use the kitchenette, the cooking facilities were not that vast. However, they were fine for us as we only really used it for snacks, tea and coffee. Third floor with no lift. The apartments were on the 3rd floor which was fine for our group but it was a challenge to bring suitcases up that many flights of stairs. It also wasn't suitable for some of our group who needed ground floor accommodation due to limited mobility. It was however no problem to get suitable accommodation nearby in this area. I think the apartment had problems with drains whilst we were there as the water when in the shower would not always go down and sometimes the toilet would not flush. This did not prove to be too much of an issue however, until the day we were leaving where the water in the shower stayed in the shower tray. This would not stop us from returning though, it must have been the nicest apartment in Krakow!. There is a theoretical possibility that you could hear neighbors (as studio is located in one of the rooms of the old former large apartment), but we did not face such situation during our 4 nights. Just our assumption. Room was booked for three adults; had one queen size bed, one folding out sofa bed and one smaller sofa bed. Not a huge issue as we adapted to smaller beds. Also was situated on thord floor with no lift. No lift. Our room was never cleaned in the four nights we stayed. Wasn't bothered about getting clean towels or a made bed but more toilet paper and bins being emptied would have been good. Also, big bed but tiny bedding. - The apartment are on the 4th floor of old building with long stairs and without a lift... so it can be a pain if you have lot stuff with you or some problems with your health. - There was an unpleasant smell on the corridor all the time of our stay (while inside of apartments everything was OK). - Bad smell in the corridor to the apartment - 3rd floor, no elevator - Bad draining water in the bathroom - No exhaust hood in the kitchenette. everythink was ok. As other reviews say, there are a lot of stairs and no lift, but then it's an old building so that's to be expected. Climb to 3rd floor with suitcases requires stamina. It would not be suitable for people with disabilities unless they had assistance. A good 15 minutes walk to main area. Over 85 steep steps up to the apartment. noisy. a very small room disgusting smell noisy in the morning no english speaking tv channel The room was not cleaned in the 3 days we were there. The Apartment in on the 3rd floor however it is 105 stairs ! It said apartment and yet the room was like a small hotel room. The other apartments were more what i expected !!!.
