Ronald the owner was lovely and made us feel at home from the start, chocolate brownies on arrival with everything to make a pot of tea. Fridge in room and very large space for a couple staying. Breakfast was served in the morning, candle lit and tasty too. Not ideal for party people and suited to couples, right next too paradiso and leidsplein and 20 ft from entrance to vondelpark. 20-30 minute walk into centrum so ideally placed, also 5-10 minute walk from museumplein/van gogh/rijksmuseum.

The room was excellent very tastefully furnished and overlooking Vondelpark which was great for watching the rush hour for bicycles! Ronald makes your stay very special as he provides a great breakfast just for you, has a very homely atmoshphere. There is also a coffee machine in the room and a small fridge. Would definately stay again.
We love to stay here, we feel like home, wonderful place, warm atmosphere, very nice people. Excellent Breakfast, excellent position near museums and near a big park and near AlbertHeijn supermarket. We recomand also the cookies home-made by granma(wonderful person!).
The host was very friendly and it was a charming place. My wife and I loved it. It's a lovely apartment located right near Rijks museum. Ronald was very helpful in providing directions and took the time to talk about various things about Amsterdam and other topics!.
The location, Vondel Park (we overlooked it) near the Museums. The very large and stylish top floor apartment. The very friendly host. The excellent supplies for a prepare-yourself breakfast. Really homely. The price is what you pay. No extras for cleaning or tax.
We liked everything: wonderful location in front of Vondelpark and very close to museums and Amsterdam center. Nice room and excellent breakfast with many attentions.Most of all we enjoyed discussions with Ronald and his family's welcome. Thank you Ronald!.

Everything was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was plentiful and really delicious.
Breakfast was impressive: various choice with music and candle light. Nespresso at room, can make coffee anytime. Location is good, easy to go museums.

lighting not that great, only lamps so slightly dark for my girlfriend to do make up. Apart from this lovely place to stay.
The weather, would probably go back in the spring on our next visit.
Little hard to find as there are no signs. It's on the street opposite the Momo restaurant. If you get off the tram 5 or 2 at the Rijks museum stop..then walk backwards towards the Momo restaurant and walk towards the street next to the park entrance.
The stairs were OK for us, but for the less fit, get a lower apartment.

Some people might not like that the bathroom is across the hall - we did not mind, it was for our exclusive use and bathrobes were provided.

no sign indicating its name, the bathroom is ouside the room but its private.
The bathroom was acros an entry hallway and was to small to even change your clothes.
toilet is not in the room, no AC, no workers, no reception, no room service, no any service or help you can get in this place.
actually it is not an hotel it is a small building that someone is taking care of it and rent the rooms.
