Staff is very nice, friendly, eager to help and go extra step-and-mile. They are all fluent in English Whenever I would stop at the lobby and ask for a cup of coffee or tea they never said "no". all reviews » The location is good. Take waterbus line 1 (towards Lido) or line 2 (towards S Marco) and get off at Accademia. Cross the bridge n pass the museum you will find a little bridge next to a cafe. You will see the signboard of Casa Arte. We had a large and comfortable room. The hotel is in an excellent location to walk to the main sights, although it was difficult to find at first. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good value for money. Many pluses: location (we came by walk from train station; it's close to water bus station to airport; near the center of city), comfort (nice small hotel, feel like home); value for money; free wifi. It fit the true feeling that we were in Venice Italy. The staff was not only wonderful and friendly, they let us store our luggage hours before check-in and ended up having our room ready early!. The hotel is very close to the academy bridge and clean and comfortable. Nothing elegant or amazing about it, but it fits your needs just right. Nice hotel. Wonderful location. The position and the stuff are good. wifi is only available in the lobby - it would be great to have it in the room, even if for an additional charge breakfast was very "frugal" - no cheese or ham or even a yogurt or fruits, just a croissant, a pastry, and selection of butter/jam/honey kitchenette had all table- and glassware, even pots and pans - but no kettle or coffemaker. Unstable wifi. Cannot get some hot drinking water to make my own tea. Was locked outside the hotel for over ten minutes as the staff was on the phone next door. Freezing!!. The breakfast is poor and served in a very cramped room. For those who love expensive apartments with large bed and 24 hours service it's not the case. Room small and bathroom is not new. But if you are here to see Venice and not to spend all the time in hotel, best choice!. Uncomfortable beds, hot rooms even though there were small air conditioners in our room. Make sure you look up directions exactly how to get there. It is easy to find, only if you're prepared...we were not prepared and learned the hard way. Fortunately we also signed it in the comment, so finally we got a crib for him. The italian style breakfast wasn't large, but it was enough. Location is also good but very difficult to find. We spent 2 hours to reach there with hell lot of luggage with us. That was terrible. Suggestion - they should put a exact map that helps to reach to hotel. The breakfast room was pokey and the "breakfast" barely there just as other reviewers said. I think the hotel is using the provision of "breakfast" as the reason for higher prices. It would be better to forget the breakfast and charge less. Most people are in Venice to see the City and want to pack as much of it as possible into a short visit. There are plenty of lovely spots around town to have your morning coffee instead of wasting time here. Old fashioned Poor breakfast Bathroom (clean but very old). The amenities (facilities). E.g, the shower is razor thin, the lighting is inadequate. Location difficult to find;. Poor breakfast and the furniture is very old and not comfortable at all.
