Excellent location close to St Mark’s square and in a lovely peaceful neighbourhood of Venice. We would definitely recommend this accommodation for the location alone, but the room was also big and comfortable with all the amenities we needed. There were no staff onsite but we didn’t find this to be a problem as the staff were very amenable over the phone. I enjoy leaving here since it very closed to Accademia varporetto, 10 minutes to San Marco, no worries for meal as you will surrounded with restaurants (a bit expensive for us). The room is big, private bathroom, and refrigerator. The cleaness also good, but for us the floor is a bit dusty.. overall is pleasant living there.
all reviews » It's very good location. Close to bus stop and is short walk to major attractions. There are many restaurant downstairs. Room is clean and comfortable. Host is very friendly and helpful. He let us store our luggage after checked out. Lovely room. We did have a problem but the manager went out of his way to ensure that it was rectified. Full marks for that. We would go back. No breakfast offered but sitting in a cafe in Venice is fun. Fast Internet Easy access location - close to water-bus stop . Good for relaxation Friendly staff. The bathroom and location. It was in a great location, Stefano Square. Close to San Marco and all the tourist sites, but far enough from crowds of people. The sinks were big, showers clean and worked well, never had a problem with cleaning services. Good size room for the price, big bathroom window, easy to ventilate, air conditioning/heater. When I complained about all my problems with a/c and hot water, the staff was really quick to react and offered me a different room (even helped me move my stuff). The room was clearly & nice but smaller big luggage will problem!!. Location, comfort, price. Excellent location. Nice restaurant down stair and free music from road side performer. Location Good. No proper sign board for the hotel - had to use the building number to find it. The bed was little. No numbers on the door to indicate which room we were in, didn't even get a note for it. The hotel "lobby" is actually across the city in their main hotel, so there was no one on site if we needed something. Beds were not very comfortable, the water boiler thing had lots of residue so when the water boiled for tea/coffee, it had little bits floating in it.. Price is definitely for LOCATION, not for quality of the rooms. Our air condioner didn't work and the bathroom had some kind of very big and hot structure in it, so I was hot all night long. In the morning, when I started taking shower, I discovered we had no hot water, so I just took a cold shower which turned out to be a really bad idea since it made me catch a cold. The staff was not around if late arrive,Just incase can't reach the location than no body can help!! The hit water always out of function, the building no lift after from port pull the luggage arrival still need pull luggage up till 2nd floors!!!. Staff service and no reception desk or service. They cleaned our room not every day. Often they cut off hot water, it was impossible to take warm shower by nights and mornings . Air conditioner did not work well. No hot water for 2 nights Never even meet any hotel staff for the 3 days stay almost everything is self service Aircon not working well Need to carry the bags across the big bridge.
