We stayed for a weekend visit. The hotel is beautifully decorated and has a lovely relaxed feel. The lounge area is well equipped with books and hot drinks are available all day. There is also a well stocked 'honesty' bar for an alcoholic nightcap. Perfect after an evening out. Breakfast is delightful - a cold buffet with lots of choice but you can also order a cooked breakfast if you want. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was adequate in size but not huge but this didn't matter as.
all reviews » Everything was perfect!! The boutique style was just amazing and created he perfect ambience for a relaxing stay in Venice. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Even after we checked out, the hotel held our luggage for us and let us relax in the upstairs lounge room while waiting for our evening train. The staff were very apologetic for the construction works going out outside he building but it was easy to work around (except the early morning . My husband and I couldn't have had a happier stay at this hotel. You couldn't be in a better position for exploring the whole of Venice yet it is only minutes from St Marco and so peaceful. The staff were very helpful and engaging and nothing was too much trouble. It was such a bonus being able to return to the comfort of the 'lounges' (2) and have tea, coffee and biscuits/cakes whatever time of day and at no extra cost! If you want a large swanky and impersonal hotel don't stay here leave it t. The hotel was situated in a brilliant spot, close to the centre of Venice but far enough away to relax. The hotel is beautiful and our room, though small, was gorgeous and wonderfully comfortable. All the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and ensure we had everything we needed to make our stay in Venice as magical as it could be. There was nothing that I didn't like. No lift. That we couldn't stay longer because we had to go back to work and the real world. Can't think of anything. Nothing. Noisy workmen outside (not the hotel's fault!). Nothing. A little pricey, but that's Venice. No rugs on the floor.
