The Pisani is an amazing hotel of old world charm and relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful furniture and surroundings made for the perfect stay. It was a perfect place to sit and sip Prosecco while watching the tourists drift by on their Gondolas. all reviews » My 17yr son and I loved staying at Palattezzo Pisani because it was a real Venice experience ( unlike the previous boring Venitian hotel where we wouldn't have know which continent it was on). The Pasani is an actual old Palace (yes it's got plumbing and hot water!!) you can hear the waves from boats washing onto the building, see the Grand Canal out your window and have breakfast or just 'chill' in the most amazing old rooms. The restoration work that's continuing adds to the experience of see. Perhaps, it is the best hotel for the first visit to Venice. It is a real palazzo and when you enter inside you found yourself in an authentic 16th century. The interior is exceptional: you feel as you stay not in the hotel but as an invited guest to one of the richest families of Venice. I've got a special deal and a price-quality ratio was perfect. If you expect a lot of comfort then it is not a place for you. But if you wish to dip into the authentic Venetian atmosphere then it is the perfec. Great top floor apartment room. Much bigger than we were expecting. The apartment building is just across from the main hotel and has its own breakfast room - so you don't really see them main hotel - but its fine. The rooms were a little too warm - so opened a window!. These aren't negatives to us but want to mention them so your experience can be as good as ours. Directions- get detailed ones and study them properly! That includes the water bus stops - avoid the Accadamia one if you have heavy suitcases. Stairs - these are totally awesome and part of the experience (I managed well with a 8wk foot fracture) The porter manages the luggage, but if steps aren't your thing ask for ground floor. The ground floor is a bit cold since it is literally stays on the water :) But the feeling is really amazing!. It was very quiet and slightly dark around the hotel at around 9pm. My wife was slightly uncomfortable with the children. Not a major issue. Our room was a fourth floor (counting the us way) walk-up (third floor counting the European way). There was no one in the office to check us in when we arrived, and no sign indicating when they would return. We only waited about 15 minutes, however. There was no stand up shower in our bathroom, just a shower handset over the bath, which was tucked under the stairs. It didn't really matter to us as we loved the room, but some people might want to know. a little bit chilly in the first night and the heater wont be able to use till mid OCT. But thanks for the extra blanket we were fine. The coffee! Cappucinos were undrinkable. Room was a bit cold, though the weather I guess was abnormally cold for this time of the year in Venice: breakfast could be reacher; only laptop was able to catch the wifi in the room, mobile devices didn't work. The room was a bit noisy due to small child running around overhead. Our mattress was a bit stiff and hard although the bedding accessories were very nice. The earliest breakfast time was a little bit too late if you were coming (as I did) for meetings. It was not much easy to find, even if the map was provided, it lacks of indications outside in the square. Don't expect palace breakfast! But get a coffee and you can spend even a day in great lounge with Canal view. The provision of tea/coffee facilities in the room would be beneficial. Our en suite consisted of a bath with a hose attached and was situated under some stairs so there was no height to stand up. The way to the entrance was quite spooky at night. Lack of ironing board, but there was an iron, not the end of the world!!!. Stayed in Del Conti - bed was like sleeping on a slab of ROCK. Need to change the bed out. İt was too difficult was to find the hotel there were No tv Channels expect İtalyan. Stairs. Non conected air conditioning nor tea/coffee facilities in the room. Lack of mini-bar. Soft matress. Room decor. Access to hotel and to the room. The room was in another building. Bad Surprise!. one small bathroom not enough! also lack of elevators as well as rating of this hotel should not be a 4 star ! its only a 3 star level. no internet in the room and nobody was interesting for this, even though that i told it was very important for my job.
