We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. We got the room with a backyard view which was relatively quiet. I can imagine the street view rooms can be quite noisy. We were two but the room was for three so it was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was ok with hot water available at all times. The room was cleaned daily. all reviews » The hotel staff were fantastic! Very helpful. The man on duty when we arrived offered to let us park in his parking space which was right in front of the Hotel. It was a Sunday so the parking was free if, you could find a spot. The nice man went out and moved his car so we could take his park space. Then, the next day, since it was Monday and parking wasn't free; he drove our car to another location for a reasonable £15 a day. Personal valet, loved it!!! Breakfast was croissants, yogurt, bran, . Really enjoyed our stay here. If you are expecting a travelodge this is not for you, the hotel is small and very traditional which fits perfectly to experience the true Firenze. Boutique style rooms and furniture with shutter windows. The staff can really not do enough for you and are always happy to see you and chat to you. A little basic Italian speaking will take you a long way in Florence. Clean bathroom. Good breakfast. Great hotel, incredible city. The rooms were comfortable enough, and the location was also great for exploring Florence. One thing was great, at 8am the breakfast was served with a selection of still hot cornetti. It also has bread, jams, butter, bread, cheese, ham, juice, coffee, cappuccino, espresso, iogurts, cereals, home made cake, etc, which we thought was very good for a budget place. This is the cheapest place that we booked among the hotels in this italy trip, but surprisingly it was quite nice!!! Well located just outside the heart of Florence an easy 10min walk from Florence Central train station and into the main attractions of the city. There were quite a few mosquitoes in the room so I had some hard times trying to sleep with my hands all itching after being bitten a lot. Also it could have been just a tiny bit closer to the city center. The Hotel is located on a busy, busy street. Our window faced directly in front of the busy street. If you are not used to traffic noise, you may find it hard to get some sleep. Also, the shower did not drain well, the water was creeping up to my ankles. Our room was centrally located and therefore there wasn't much natural light, however for the time we spent in the room this wasn't an issue. The shower could do with a little maintenance as the shower head wasn't too keen on staying in its holder. The bathroom in Italian hotels seem to be very easily flooded. There's nothing to stop the water from the shower. I stayed in room 11, which is very old, ventilation is no good, but at least they made an effort to make it smell better. Had a peek of the othe rooms, seem much nicer with lots of sunlight. The bathroom was a bit strange, specially the shower,. And the wi-fi was free, but the signal was almost non existent in the room. Neighborhood is very busy with cars on Main Street and its annoying at night if you try to sleep. The wifi is not working well sometimes. lighting in room could have been better. 1. breakfast starts very late. 2. the toilet flush not working, have to wait for 15 for next flush..waste of time. 3. shower head not working, someone has to hold it for me to shower. 4. mosquitoes in the room. 5. noises on the main road.
