Very good overall, will recommend to others. Very quiet, clean, no smell of old smoke, friendly and helpful staff, good location within walking distance of the centre and the train and central bus stations, reasonably priced. Very quiet indeed. Good beds/mattresses. Good location, close to thetrain station without its hassles - easy walking distance to the Firenzesights. Has web access (wi-fi too). all reviews »
Good location close to attractions, extremely helpful staff, quiet rooms, basic but clean.location is very convenient to walk to the center, to the bus lines needed, very quiet. It was a fairly centrally located hotel which offered value for money.Proximitiy to station. Close to the historical center. the coffee at breakfast is not worthy of Italy - but there is an excellent bar for cappaccino just across the street. The breakfast coffee needs drastic improvement, but there is anexcellent coffee place " ~ Degli Anselmi" right at the corner facing thehotel that serves outstanding espresso (and everything else).1-person room was very small, no real table to use. The breakfast was very monotonous. No cereal, yoghurt, cold meats or cheeses were offered; only jam and honey with rolls and croissants. The coffee was of poor quality and was quite bitter. No carpet on the floor.
