  This was our 2nd time.we never stay in the same hotel twice but wecannot fault this hotel in anyway. We go away to hotels regularly buthotel is by far the nicest.the night after we stayed this time we stayedin a 5star in cork and there was no comparison.The staff are extremelyfriendly without being intrusive.   Our hostess met us at the door and told us where to park. She gave us a brief run-down of where to eat and even offered to make reservations for us if we would like. It was a very easy walk to town - but be ready for the steep walk back up to go to bed! Rooms (we had 2) were very clean. One bathroom was a really nice size. - It was very close... what people say » to the village. I had requested ahead for a gluten free breakfast but when the time came the lady didn't have ant glutted free bread but she did offer twice to go out and buy some especially for me. I would have much rather she had read my request when she accepted my booking.

There was lots of water pressure in the shower as well as little extras (i.e. make up removal pads) in the bathroom. The view was wonderful and the rooms very well appointed. Having wi-fi was appreciated as was the breakfast and suggestions of where to eat for dinner.

They embraced local with a breakfast that consisted of lots of fresh food grown and baked on the working farm that meant for a delicious start to the day.
