The room was wonderful! The location was perfect - it was easy to get to and from the airport and in walking distance to the center of Dublin. When I come back to Dublin I will stay there again!. Proximity to the city centre. Great breakfast - continental offered, but seemed more than that. Quietness of our room even though hotel on busy intersection. Staff very friendly and obliging.
all reviews » The room was clean, the bathroom is fantastic with a great jacuzzy! Is 15 min away from the city center and there's a bus stop for the airport just 5 minutes walking. I would stay again!. The room we obtained was perfect. We upgraded to an executive room which included an sauna and jacuzzi - it really was just bliss :). Convenient location for Dublin City Centre, room and facilities were very clean. Chocolates left on my pillow was a lovely touch. Very helpful and accommodating staff, and a beautiful guest house in an ideal location for discovering Dublin.The owner and staff were very helpful. Our room was at the basement level and there was the smell of exhaust gassess every now and then. I stayed in one of the modern furnished single rooms in the annexe of the guest house, which was very clean and comfortable. Staff were welcoming, helpful and courteous. At the 48 Euros internet rate (although excluding breakfast), this represented outstanding value for money. Its location was also excellent - 10 minute walk from St Stephen's Green in an elegant Georgian neighbourhood.The hotel was within easy reach of the city, and very handy for both shopping and a night out. Secure parking is available, and at a reasonable price for the city centre. The rooms are basic, but clean, and make a welcome change from the usual corporate, soulless hotels that abound these days. When turning on the shower, the cold water or flushing the toilet the noise that came from the tank was terrible. So if your up for the loo through the night don't flush the toilet or you'll have your room and the rest of the guest house up. . Traffic noise at night - but you maybe expect that in the city.Wasn't really used to the noise of traffic and the constant noise of radiator pipes at night but only very minor points. Reception closes early, i.e. noone behind desk at 11 pm. Walls in room a bit scuffed could do with a fresh coat of paint.To have warm water only in the morning and evening, except ifdirectly asking for having it some time during the day. The boilerhad further not enough hot water to fill the Jacuzzi, as the boileris shared with other rooms. That's a pity - to have a Jacuzzi, butnot be able to use it!. Our bathroom was a "wet room", which I'm not a huge fan of. However, it was warm enough that the floor dried out quickly enough.We were happy we got an upgrade, the basement room did not have a window and the rooms were very warm. We were happy wecould open a window. it had a very fawlty towers vibe.our bed was actually broken on one side and it was uncomfortable to sleep on that side...my husband and I kept trading sides so neither one of us would get TOO sore of a back!. The dining room was too small for the number of guests there.The secured parking is not precisely spacious - better you know what your are doing behind the wheel ;-). Reception staff had poor knowledge of area and euro exchange rate. As above ,my room was not luxury as stated.but adequate enough for me. hot water was not working well.
