Location is very good. It's a quiet part of town just a short walk awayfrom the centre. Many tourist attractions, such as Old jamesonDistillery and Guionness Storehouse, are in a walking distance. Thereare also shops and very good public transport (from airport first takebus 748 and then luas to Smithfield). The hotel is new, clean andmodern, and the staff was very friendly. Our reservation didn't show up and the hotel was sold out, so the guy working the front desk bought us a drink and paid for a cab ride to the other comfort Inn in Dublin, which was more central, and gave us the same rate.

Since there are no fridges in the room, if you do need to keep milk for a baby you have to use the ice machine. And there are no buckets provided, only large cups which makes it a little difficult to keep milk for the night.Directions to hotel should be simpler. Incredibly noisy one night from 11 pm until 4 am. There was no room available to move us to another room so staff offered to send us to a sister hotel. We decided to stay there anyway ... please note that the second night was incredibly quiet and comfortable.The area around it is very dull. I imagine it could be a bit intimidating late at night. I think the evening meal was not very good and was overpriced. paying for parking is a drawback. On Monday night, we went for dinner, and there was only one waitress, and almost full restaurant...Of course she couldn´t manage that, I felt sorry for her...and the chefs? They didn´t help, they weren´t patient, they were shouting and had stupid comments...As somebody who is working in resaturants and hotels over 7 years, I can say, it shouldn´t happen in 3star hotel... having to get breakfast vouvhers in reception.One morning we had to wait for food to be replenished in buffet breakfast. little warm. When I called Comfort Inn in Dublin to confirm the reservation they sent me to the wrong hotel; when I finally got to the right hotel they did not have a record of my reservation either and had to phone booking.com to find out the problem. Apparently I got a room only because someone else cancelled. I dont know whether the problem was Comfort Inn or Booking.com. When I rang the hotel the staff couldn't give me directions to the hotel. Someone had to ring me back.

Airlink (number 747) is an express bus that you can catch from outside Arrivals. It will take you to O'Connell Street (the main street in the city centre).

Aircoach (a big blue bus) is an airport bus that has a circular route and will drop you at the Gresham Hotel in O'Connell Street.

The 16a Bus (normal Dublin bus) will drop you in O'Connell Street. It is not recommended if you have luggage.
