The setting of the hotel is absolutely fabulous if you like to be surrounded by luxuriant vegetation (like I do). The swimming pools are wonderfully designed, instead of being the standard rectangle, the staff are extremely friendly (which is common to most of Bali), and the design of the rooms and villas is also just really good. I had heard that some of the bathrooms were a little out of date and in need of modernisation, but ours (a superior double) was just fine, and kept spotless by the cl.
all reviews » The hotel grounds were very beautiful and well maintained I loved the plants and trees, it was like a magic garden. The pool was really nice. The bungalow was traditional and picturesque. The hotel was romantic with family appeal too. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. Breakfast was nice. It was fair value for money and I will be going again. All the staff were so friendly especially Chipta he was amazing with our grandchildren . He made them feel very special. Evening meal was just about OK. When we ordered our meals to our room it would have been nice if the dirty plates were taken at least within an hour. But we're left all day or we had to call to have them cleaned away. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay and would recommend to anyone to stay there, as very relaxed atmosphere. The gym could be improved. The hotel appears a little old but still comfortable and clean. bathroom needs a refurbishment. the bathrooms could need a renovation. The bathroom needs to be improved. Booking a pool view room should mean u get a pool view room. Having to ask for what we booked for and swap rooms was annoying but it was fixed. Breakfast not very good. Getting a little rundown and needs some refurbishment. Food was very average. Very hard to walk on the streets outside due to open drains and traffic. Seminyak beach dirty and dangerous for swimming. Dated rooms Awful restaurant Desperately needs a good clean/modern up. Terrible bathrooms Pretty ordinary rooms. Expensive restaurant and pool bar. The highest tax I saw in Bali (21%). The staff are so arogan, They only run 30% occupancy, and asked for late check-out but they wont let it go unless you pay 50% of publish rate! If you dont want to pay, you can stay anywhere else! that what the receptions told us.
