We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Bali Ayu. My partner Sean has stayed many times but for me it was the first. The staff are absolutely wonderful! They are so friendly and terribly accommodating. The Bali Ayu is just past Seminyak making it far away enough to be out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to get where you need to go in no time. all reviews » The deluxe room was spacious and comfortable and the outside Balinese-styled bathroom was beautiful. The hotel is set on a busy main road however all the rooms and swimming pool are set back and surprising quiet. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The villas are a 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 mins to the main part of Seminyak. This is now my 5th stay here, and I can't find a better place!! The staff are AMAZING. Location is fabulous, walking distance to everywhere, if you like. Or jump on a scooter, or jump in a Taxi, and it is all there. They will organise all you days trips. Brekky is fabulous. And the afternoon sports bar great! We will be back. Love to all. We were given a free upgrade to 2 Deluxe rooms upon checking in. We had a pleasant stay n staff is helpful and friendly. The location is near to eateries. Must try Warung Eny and gourmet café. The ribs at Naughty Nuri is popular snd needs to queue even on week days. Taxi fare is less than 15k to reach there. Stayed in the 1 bedroom Jacuzzi for 1 night and it was quite noisy. Bedroom wall is next to the road. Other villas have a garden wall and pool between road and building cutting out the noise which is great. The breakfast lacked variety. There were tea cups and a kettle provided in the room but no tea bags, coffee or sugar!. Can't say anything here. There is nothing to not like. The shower and air conditioning were not working well in one of our rooms. Breakfast ok but not great. Its a good 20-30 minute walk to the busier part of town along roads with few pavements, but taxis are plentiful and cheap so its not really a problem. Nothing. There was nothing I did not like if I had to say something the pressure in the upstairs shower was not great. There were some bugs but minor issues as we booked a villa and there were open spaces, so totally forgiven. But the kitchenette was always crawling with ants, so I think cleaning needs to be more frequent. It rained almost everyday so there were always leaves in the pool though the water stayed clear, I wish they cleared the leaves once a day or at least once every other day. Nothing we didn't like. If could make any suggestion it would be to have a lounge seat in the villa. No cofee in the room. Location: it's quite a walk to the beach or centre of Seminyak (about 15-20 minutes). The road to the beach/centre is not easy to walk on because there is no trottoir. However, there are lots of taxi's which can bring you for a small amount. Rooms are big and clean but a bit impersonal. That i had to leave. pub in front of the hotel very crowded and noisy, but Semyniak is as well. We preferred off the beaten tracks areas In Bali. Nothing. To the centre you need a taxi, but taxis are really cheap. The food was terrible, I suggest going elsewhere to eat if you are staying here. The internet access was very poor. Nothing to play music on. Needs something for MP3. Our villa located right next to the side small street and local houses. It was very noise with motorbike and dogs barking most of the time. Especially night time when you tried to have goodnight sleep. the water heater didnt work for a day, something wrong with the basin, it kept leaking water. i didnt stay much at the hotel tho, so those didnt really bother me. oh the partly-openair bathroom is nt bad bt it seems to me that they forgot about the mosquitos. some of the hotel attendants need to smile more, and some look like they care more for the foreigners.
