October 2013 : a must stay for honeymooners and couples who want to enjoy some tranquil time. LOCATION : In the heart of Seminyak & Petignet. A Five minutes drive away from The Seminyak Square. There are some really good eateries, bars & pubs around the Khayangan so for travellers who enjoy venturing out it's a blessing. Some really good up market shopping is also available around the area. all reviews » We booked two bedrooms villa for three days and we can say that our stay was perfect...the villa is huge with a large swimming pool.the staff are very professionals and looking for each and every details ( one of the staff was running to alert us that we forgot our mobile when leaving the villa) they are offering two hours free massage for each person that can be divided in two days...the breakfast is prepared inside the villa and you can choose from three menus...we had no problems in our stay. Very nice establishment ideal for couples and solo travellers. The private villas with full kitchen facilities, private pool and living area is fantastic for a 'quiet' experience in Bali. The Villa offers transfers from/to Ngurah Rai Airport and Seminyak which is excellent given Bali taxi drivers have no sense of a fair price! For people interested in massages/spas, the Villa offers a two hour, complimentary aromatherapy massage on arrival which is ideal after a day out exploring Bali. The V. The staff are very helpful and friendly , always greet you with a big smile and warm hello , Our drivers were awesome and always answered our silly questions as did the front desk , aircon threw out the villa for after those hot days out shopping and a comfortable bed. Amazing-sized bathroom and bath tub - love the outdoor concept that is so representative of Bali The free shuttle service from the villa to nearby areas (furthest to seminyak square) proved to be a very useful and value-added service the villa provides. The villa was spacious with air-conditioning in the living and dining area. The rooms were spacious too with comfortable bed and pillows. The swimming pool was nice and we had great time with the kids at the pool. Villa staffs will come to the Villa every morning to cook our breakfast and lay them nicely on the table. We stayed in one bed room villa it was fantastic. The hotel staff were very freindly made us feel like home. They provided for us a free pick up from airport. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The In Room Dining Lunch/ Dinner is arranged through Villa Kayu Raja which is on the opposite side of Khayangan on the same road. Would say the food from Villa Kayu Raja is just about ok. Mosquitos but the staff arranged for anti mosquitos and also the room is also equiped with electri anti mosquitos. Like other reviewers, can confirm that the western breakfast is not ideal - the local Indonesian equivalent on the other hand is very nice. The outdoor/indoor bathroom is nice, but full of local insects by evening making an evening shower or trip to the toilet scary for some. The road outside the Villa connecting it to Jl. Petitenget is still gravel and not well lit in the evenings. Makes walks back to the Villa in the evening a bit unsafe. Location was near perfect - close to all the amazing restaurants and beach clubs. However, the nearby constructions going on was disrupting - both in terms of noise (could be bearable for some) and privacy - you could see workers working from across on the 3-4 storey building looking into half the pool area/front yard. Breakfast is not the best. The small road leading to main road was not in good condition, very bumpy travelling in cars, not to mention walking out. The hotel was a bit away from the main street but the hotel staff provided us a free drop to seminyak square. Bumpy road from main street. Construction next door could look into villa. Needs higher walls or trees. Didnt feel private enough. Breakfast was microwaved instead of cooked in villa. Portion was not enough. Could not order food from room service because kitchen closed at 8pm. The lady at the reception was trying to pass over bank processing fees (3% of the booking price) to us. But once realized, that we were rather frustrated with such a statement, apologetically withdrew her "offer". The rest of the staff were just perfect. Nothing. Mosquitoes (rice paddy nearby), pillows hard and too high, lack of knowledge of local eateries etc from staff, breakfast looked good tasted average. Biku great alternative. Nothing. They need to improve on their breakfast in terms of taste & selection. the location could be slightly better. Location a bit far off from main street, not in walking distance. (You shouldn't have to hire a taxi to walk to a nearby restaurant or shop.). Nothing... Breakfast was poor. The staff were not good and poorly trained. No connection from night to day staff with missed messages. Nothing special about the rooms. No real Bali feel.....could have been anywhere. Just needs a bit more thought. The location is inconvenient. Villa should provide two - way complimentary shuttle to Kuta / Seminyak.
