Staffs.. Early check in arranged.. Clean.. They arranged a baby bed as I was accompagnated with a 18 months baby!. The location is very close to the domestic airport The service was a little slow but good Clean room. I enjoyed my stay, food was good, comfortable rooms,near to airport and friendly staff. have been staying at the orchid for many years now. and I just love the place.

Airport shuttle service, Vindhya's restaurant,friendly staff. everything else is just as it has been for so many years. One of the best eco system facilities inside the room .. Everything was just perfect. Kudos to the team. Polite & helpful staff. Two things 1 after making trouble, at arrival, as usual at the reception at any hotel, they made a very good effort to assist. Orchid has in prinicple two handicap rooms, all the other rooms are non accessible. One is well equipped, the other has space but not the chair. At arrival the reception finally asked a non handicapped to move out of room 103 to a better room and let us in. The 101 was already given to another handicapped couple. A chair was installed at the shower in the room 103. S. Location. close to airport shuttle available. Its proximity to the airport. We didn't get a good view from the room window and also window wasn't clean from the outside!. Well there is nothing in particular But I would prefer it if they had an LCD or plasma Tv with HD port (It was an old TV) to be fair the tv channels was good. room service and room food has really gone down .... it was great 3 -4 months ago now it has deteriorated . Wifi service failed and dint work for over 1 hour Room Service is a bit slow. Wifi connectivity was not reliable and consistent in any area. Room took a while before the ac took effect. Electrical wiring was loose in my room (no 553) Staff in coffee bar not organised, needed reminding several times for several requests. room service. Bathroom and als othe bath tub is very small compared to to other 5star hotels.. Nothing all was good. Nothing. No shoe shiner in room. I told the servants at the restaurant that when they take an order they deliver instantly or tell in 10 minutes. Not appear to take the order and thereafter ran around on other duties. To guests it should be made clear there is a common tip box. If you stay for a couple of days you are served by several persons and should not be obliged to remunerate everyone. It is up to them to serve as a team. Front desk staff is very poor in terms of service I took 20 mins to checkin. many staff were unable to speak basic English for India, food and drink prices were expensive. All the amenities and services are over priced. very poor service. I stayed in this Hotel earlier also. The courtesy & liviness is gone now...
